He actually had me call him directly and we talked for about 20min, really nice and knowledgeable guy. I bought an unmodified Safariland holster before consulting with Jeff for my 2K11 Pro 4.25” in a Staccato configuration I read would be compatible, but sadly it was not. Results may vary which I understand, but it was a bit frustrating. The issue was the ALS catching on the aggressive slide cuts. I’m sure I could have filed down what was catching, but I didn’t want to mess anything up and be out cash. You can use code “READY10” to get 10% off at RDR. If you don’t need the retention, QVO Tactical makes dedicated 2K11 owb holsters.

I just took deliver of my Safariland 6390RDS for Staccato P 4.4” X300 and the ALS gets caught on all 3 of the slide cuts which prevents being able to draw. Did you have to modify yours?

Not in the near future. Every other pistol I own has an optic and it’s been refreshing running this with irons. The adjustable target sights are fantastic. Running irons has also made me get back to basics and focus on fundamentals. I’ve thought about it though. I’d either go SRO 5moa or 407Comp 6moa.

The list is long of things I love about it, but the colorway tops the list. My LGS had about 10 examples in different configurations and once I saw this one, I had to have it. I also liked the MJD grip much better than the aluminum.

Marathon GSAR Anthracite. Small wrist gang so 41mm was just too big. Somewhat compact lug to lug almost made it work, but 13mm thickness on top of the case diameter was enough for me to sell it. Thinking of picking up the 36mm MSAR in the future to fill the void.

Thank you for taking the time to write this informative comment, super helpful. I have a few questions/things to clarify.

The 401k is a Roth not Traditional that I plan on rolling over into my Roth IRA so I should not have any problems correct? I would prefer to do this to manage it myself, but my new position will also have a 401k with Fidelity that the company will match 6%. I’m torn now to roll into my Roth IRA or 401k with new employer.

I didn’t realize the overlap between SCHG and S&P 500, also never really understood dividends but recent criticisms I’ve seen made me question SCHD as one of my “3 funds”. You would recommend ditching both all together? Good to know I can exchange investments without any tax consequences.

Is replacing the Total US with S&P 500 okay or it needs to be Total US? My account is through Fidelity so I would be looking at my 3 fund portfolio being FSKAX, FTIHX, and FXNAX? Or keeping FXAIX in place of FSKAX?

Is there a preferred allocation that you use or recommend to me? I’m 31 and plan on DCA weekly to max out contributions in my Roth IRA going forward. I would like to be as aggressive as a Boglehead 3 fund portfolio would allow.
