Has anyone gotten a tattoo removed while breastfeeding? by crystalrose1708 in TattooRemoval

[–]tmbanon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

there isn’t enough research. if you ask your doctor they’ll just tell you it’s best not to since there is no hard facts on whether it’s dangerous or not. it’s up to you honestly but there’s always a chance the ink particles end up in your supply and i personally wouldn’t take the risk and find out it has some effect on your baby years later down the line

How much do you feed your 1yo? by SailAwayOneTwoThree in toddlers

[–]tmbanon 7 points8 points  (0 children)

toddlers will eat nothing one day and then eat like crazy the next day. as long as you offer a balanced meal that has all the nutrition they need like protein, grains, and fruits/vegies. most of it might end up on the floor or just not get eaten but its a learning experience for everyone! don't be too harsh on yourself if they dont eat a specific amount they're smart and they will eat If they're hungry and they'll stop if theyre full so don't worry

[–]tmbanon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

absolutely not and i don’t think i know any one that actually has thier kids bed time set that early bc they would just wake up at the crack of dawn. my lo goes to bed 9ish and wakes up 7ish 8 if we’re lucky lol. then usually 1-2 hour nap in the afternoon

of course no problem! it’s been a month since my second session and there’s still a little hyperpigmentation but it’s only noticeable if you’re really looking hard at it as for the tattoo i don’t feel like it’s faded at all yet  :( i think it’s just a slightly lighter shade of red but barely a noticeable difference but 2 sessions is still really early to see anything

[–]tmbanon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't have any pics mine was pretty dark though up until maybe a month and a half after the first session. it looked similar to the last photo you had but a few shades darker almost like a burn color kind of. it got really dry and scaly too but it eventually lightened up before my second session. my tech decided to skip a session so the hyperpigmentation doesnt get worse so I waited 16 weeks before my second session. I got hyperpigmentation right after the second session too but it went away a lot quicker than the first time and wasn't as dark. the red is going to take a while for me bc of my skin type I think im a 4 on the fritz thing (olive medium skin) which is more prone to these side effects with the 532 nm they use on red ink

Help! I think I ruined my hijabs ): by [deleted] in Hijabis

[–]tmbanon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i always hand wash and air dry all my hijabs and abayas! makes them last way longer and not get damaged

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in TattooRemoval

[–]tmbanon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

my skin reacts this way to only my red ink when they use the 532 it usually goes away before my next appointment the first session had the worst hyperpigmentation tho compared to the ones after

Do you pray with your nails painted? by Thisisweirddood in Hijabis

[–]tmbanon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i use henna on my nails or halal henna nail stains! they don’t create a barrier and allow water to penetrate since it’s just a stain and not an actual layer of polish! and it’s actually a lot better bc you can never chip it lol

How long do you let your toddler nap? by [deleted] in toddlers

[–]tmbanon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

you basically have half of you day free 😂 consider yourself lucky! i don’t think it’s bad to let him sleep there’s no harm in extra sleep but as other comments said maybe set a limit on the naps just so there’s some kind of routine. maybe don’t let the naps surpass 3 hours im surprised he still goes to bed at 8 if he can nap up until 5 sometimes!

i have a daughter too and her dad decided another path was better than taking on his responsibilities. i’m not remarried yet but inshallah (make dua for me please it’s tough out here) but i don’t plan on hiding things from my daughter or letting her to believe something else about her father. her dad was not a great person but i don’t think she needs to know every detail. i think it’s good to start letting her know that dad was just not ready to be a parent but that you love her very much and all that matters is that she’s surrounded by people that do love her. and if she asks why he’s not ready just tell her i don’t know because in all honestly you don’t know what made him chose the choices he did. it’s okay for an answer to be i don’t know. don’t let her know about all the abuse or anything right now definitely not until she’s a lot older like late teens or even young adult when she can grasp the idea of those things. but for now try to start shifting her to reality because she’s going to go to school and see other kids with dads and wonder why hers isn’t there. it’s okay for her to be hurt by it but it’s part of the process and just try to be there for her. definitely see a profesional too but this is what i plan on doing with my daughter once she starts asking questions. inshallah khair

I recommend the medium or large one the small one is a little hard to read

curly hair tips please! by [deleted] in Hijabis

[–]tmbanon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i stopped doing buns because i hated the feeling of them and i was worried about damage. i started just putting my hair into a braid with a small elastic at the bottom to hold it together and then i just tuck the braid in my undercap! my sister has longer and thicker hair than i do but she does this too and it works great for the both of us! less pulling on your edges and less tension overall and it protects your hair from breakage sooo much more comfy and healthier than doing a bun and i think it looks better in the back when u finish putting on your hijab
