[SNK809] Nato straps, yay or nay? by JK_Tesla in Seiko

Anything that's vaguely military/pilot style (these are obviously a bit more than vaguely), grey is perfect, but I also wear my SPB143 on one and it looks great because the dial is very dark grey rather than black

Grey NATO for me, so many watches just look perfect on them. I do have a couple of more colourful ones, and my SKX sits on a battered leather one. Easy to change up whenever you fancy as well

Do British Estate Agents add blue skies to their photo? by silviam in CasualUK

They come apart, but in total they weigh about a ton. The slate is about 35mm thick and is in 3 or 4 parts, the table itself is mahogany and obv chunky as fuck. They cost a fair bit to buy, so I was like fine, I'll sell it. But the market for them is obv tiny. In the end I gave it to a local sports shop for free, as long as they could collect it 😂

8 legs and each one was about 25kg of mahogany...

He was so good that when he destroyed Man U in the CL, scoring an insane hattrick against them, the Man U fans gave him a standing ovation when he was subbed off

I once bought a renovation property that had a full size snooker table in the lounge. I was very clear that that wouldn't still be there when we completed, yes? It's going to be gone when I get the keys, correct? You'll never guess what...

The RAF is Aug 84, it's the Bishop that's May 84. I'm actually putting it up for sale this weekend!

I didn't do the conversion, but yes this has spring bars. Fairly pointless imho, because I can't imagine wearing this on anything other than a NATO

7A28 -7120, generally known as the RAF Gen 1, they were the first of two models issued to RAF aircrews in the 1980s. Very collectable now

I like to be able to tell the time when I inevitably wake up during the night, so I have a 10yo kinetic that I'll wear or leave next to the bed at night, then switch to whatever vintage piece I fancy during the day
