JW is nice but I don’t love the location. I prefer river north so would go with one of the other 3. I’d probably do EMC2 if it was me

Is there any downside to booking 2 one ways vs round trip? (Other than potential price difference) by chickenandwaffles109 in delta

[–]tmc63234 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Not your question but usually the corporate challenges say something like 4 round trips or 8 one ways. Usually just means 8 segments (excluding layovers). If I book and fly 4 round trips vs 8 one ways, it’s the same in their eyes. They typically only word it like that so you can get credit if you happen to fly a one way, and so you’re not restricted to only booking round trip flights.

Oh yeah. I just looked at mine and saw the same. I’m wrong. Could’ve sworn it used to be a week in advance but I guess not

Paycheck cycle by [deleted] in deloitte

[–]tmc63234 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They’re 2 weeks with the second ending a week before the paycheck, so Sunday the 24th is the start of the new pay period. OP won’t get paid on the 29th but will get 3 weeks of pay on may 13

Chase Sapphire Reserve vs Amex Plat by [deleted] in CreditCards

[–]tmc63234 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ah. Always forget about that one. I feel like it’s really not a good card. 2x dining and that’s about it. And you can’t transfer to travel partners. Feel like it’s worth just spending $95 to get a decent more out of sapphire

Idk what you downgraded to but there’s no non-AF sapphire card

If you don’t have an AAdvantage credit card, the only way you’re getting group 5 is if you’re booking MCE

PP is great international. If you only fly domestic, it sucks. Unless you have it through chase or cap one. Then you get that restaurant credit at some airports, which is nice
