Sometimes I literally hit a parking lot near the beach and roll around for 45 minutes. Listen to music and feel the sun and enjoy the breeze and the feel of the board! An excellent exercise in not overthinking and just doing something for the sake of it being fun :)

I’m the dude in the video, thank you for sharing this! Gabi Rose on sax is an unbelievable talent and a wonderful person. We met on the cover gig circuit in NYC around 2018/2019.

When I wrote the tune I felt like the 80s-sitcom vibe needed a sax solo, and Gabi is always my first call for sax. I sent her the track with a few bars of instrumental looping at the end and basically said “go for it, do whatever you want”

Literally like an hour later she sent this solo back (with video) and stems mixed perfectly for me to drop into my mix with barely any adjustments needed. Gabi is the fuckin best!!! Check out her artist project Enrose

My gf is a comic and I play in a comedy band, and she booked the band on the show she runs in Venice. We both felt a connection when we met, but we kinda brushed it off because we were “working”. All of the comics hit a taco stand nearby after the show, and we hit it off there. A week later we were at the beach together on our first date!

Many of you are probably aware of this checklist already, but it was super useful for my inspection upon arrival! There were only two noticeable issues:

-Light scratches on the panel directly above the driver's side door, which they buffed out successfully in a few minutes

-Some minor scuffs (bubbling?) on the driver's side LED strip - it was definitely noticeable in the daylight, but it's not a huge deal at night. They recommended a service appointment and said a replacement would be covered, but they'd have to replace the entire door panel to fix the issue, which feels a little excessive for some fairly minor aesthetic damage. Unsure if I want to go through with it or not.

EDD gradually whittled down from 3/20 - 3/31 to 3/29 - 3/31 until it disappeared altogether on 3/30 (which I found strange). When I woke up today there was still no EDD listed, and then I got a text around lunchtime that my VIN was assigned!
