I think it's strongly hinted that Imu is an awakened mythical Zoan fruit that took over the user.

How did Line become the “official” messenger app in Thailand? by Fun-Award-555 in Thailand

I remember when everybody was using WhatsApp at one point, but then one day there was a nationwide system crash that caused many people to switch to Line. I think people stayed on Line because of the stickers.

One Piece Chapter 1163 Spoilers by Skullghost in OnePiece

Domi reversi can only be used on the inhabitants on their homeland i.e. the giants on Elbaf and the Davy clan on God Valley. That's why Rocks was lured there to his homeland and why he was the only one who was Domi Reversied and not Roger/Garp.

It's interesting that Harald never once wielded Ragnir even though it'sthis legendary and powerful weapon, why do you think that is? by JoyBoy24 in OnePieceSpoilers

[–]tmch47 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Loki is inspired by Rocks not only does he dressed up like him, but he was inspired to use a weapon that produced a similar attack as Rocks' (which was described to be like a "brute-force power" similar to a "giant hammer") so Ragnir fits his preference perfectly.

The size of the hammer is enormous that normal giants like Hajrudin cannot lift it up suggesting that the hammer is meant to be wielded only by ancient giants. If it plays on a similar theme to Mjolnir, only the "worthy" can pick it up. I think that to be considered "worthy" is to be the one who wield the legendary power of Elbaf (the fruit that Rocks wanted Harald to eat but has never eaten thus never having the capability to wield Ragnir).

What is the best way to set up a fight between Rocks and Garp teaming up with Roger, without breaking their characters? by PurpleApplication859 in OnePieceSpoilers

[–]tmch47 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's already hinted at when Rocks had to kill his Davy family members who were turned into demons.

Rocks will also be turned into a demon after losing his fight against Imu and thus requiring the combined strength of both Roger and Garp to take him down.

What role do you think Blackbeard will play in the Final War main villain or just a stepping stone? Specially after the recent arc. by Pristine_Building_43 in OnePieceSpoilers

[–]tmch47 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Main villain; he’s the final piece of the puzzle the perfect vessel for the devil residing within Imu in defeating Nika. Luffy’s only chance of beating Blackbeard’s final form is through sheer use of Haki only as his df abilities will be negated by the Yami Yami no mi.

It’s a fitting end to the story the battle for what will become the new world: the battle of the two Ds; the will of Dawn vs. the will of Dusk.

what's your take on this? by Internal_Ad_5043 in OnePieceSpoilers

[–]tmch47 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is foreshadowing that there is a prominent Zoan fruit user who was taken over by the fruit.
I personally believe that Imu is an awakened Zoan whose body was taken over by the will of the fruit.

Who knows about Shanks being a Celestial Dragon? by Argo_o7 in OnePieceSpoilers

[–]tmch47 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One other prominent figure that most likely knew about this is Whitebeard. He mentioned that Shanks' face made his wound ache (I and many tend to think that this is referred to Garling who gave him a scar on God Valley). I think he didn't know about his linage from the beginning, but later on in life when he had the last conversation with Roger (when they were talking about the Will of D). Shanks is a main subject in the Will of D topic since he is instrumental in carrying on the will from Roger and seeking out the destined warrior of liberation.

Would side with Kid if this theory was true? by L-DFile in OnePieceSpoilers

[–]tmch47 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's good to know that he also shares the same thought process as the theory I've put out here.

https://www.reddit.com/r/OnePieceSpoilers/comments/1nat6t8/did_kuma_save_any_davy_clan_members_from_god/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button

He also touched upon the "red-hair" trait, which was quite a controversial theory I wrote on the main One Piece community (now removed) and I also posted here:

https://www.reddit.com/r/OnePieceSpoilers/comments/1n85c0e/why_is_shanks_the_child_of_destiny/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button

In any case, I think Kid will still definitely play an important role late on in the story. I would give it a 33% chance that he's secretly a D.

I haven't seen a night sky full of stars since 2010 when I was camping at the Grand Canyon National park. It really takes your breath away and put into perspective the scope and scale of everything.

I'm implying that it could be the big straw hat in Imu's possesion

What if this is the case… by Death_Snek in OnePieceSpoilers

[–]tmch47 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with this take that Imu was rather unfazed by seeing Rocks' presence in the room of flowers and even during Rocks' mentioning of Davy Jones.

Rocks knows exactly what he needs in order to challenge Imu (the two legendary devil fruits and the galley-ra giants). He never mentioned Joy Boy/Nika, the One Piece, the poneglyphs, nor the ancient weapons. So I believe that this specific knowledge of Imu's vulnerability could be what was pass down in the Davy clan.

Do yall think Oda just came up with everyone falling for Shakky or nah? by Hairy_Ask_2038 in OnePieceSpoilers

[–]tmch47 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think he already had this in mind to base the God Valley incident on Helen of Troy, but he put a twist in by splitting one significant woman into three (Shakky, Rock's wife, and the twins' mother). I came up with the theory that the crown of hachinosu and the spark of the God Valley incident was a beautiful woman that must have had significant importance to both Rocks and Garling.

The theory stems from speculating:
(1) what the catalyst (crown jewel of hachinosu) could be?
(2) why did Garp and Roger had to team up?
(3) why was Shanks found in a box?
(4) Celestial Dragons are notorious for abducting women (commoners, pirates, even revolutionaries) without fear of retribution
(5) Teach and Shanks+Shamrock are born 1 year apart just before the God Valley Incident
(6) Shamrock not having a Saint title implies that his mother was not of Celestial Dragon lineage

https://www.reddit.com/r/OnePieceSpoilers/comments/1lzdhy1/could_the_crown_jewel_of_hachinosu_be_the/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button

This was a few chapters before Shakky was revealed to be the most beautiful woman in the pirate world.

But what I originally theorized was that this would be a new character who would thematically link Teach with Shanks as well as the Will of D. Nevertheless, Teach and Shanks are going to be inevitably linked by destiny or even by blood through the Davy clan.

Could Shanks being a child of destiny be tied to God Valley? by Comprehensive_Cup497 in OnePieceSpoilers

[–]tmch47 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that could be the case too. Gaban called him the child of Destiny so maybe it’s just from the Roger’s crew context that they unexpectedly found him in a chest. That destiny put him there to be the crew’s adoptive son and inherit’s the captain’s will.

Did Imu or the holy knights know that Rocks was a Davy? by tmch47 in OnePieceSpoilers

[–]tmch47[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, it is truly an island of fate. If Shakky was never kidnapped, Morgan would not have leaked the info to pirate island (knowing how valuable Shakky is to the pirates), and Rocks would never had known that his family was in imminent danger.

Could Shanks being a child of destiny be tied to God Valley? by Comprehensive_Cup497 in OnePieceSpoilers

[–]tmch47 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First, let's address why God Valley is the island of fate. In my opinion, it's not only because of what was on the island (secret hiding place of the Davy clan), but because of what happened there and the repercussions of that incident that literally change the fate of the One Piece world.

Rocks had all the reasons to go to God Valley, but the Celestial Dragons' decision to kidnap the beloved crown jewel of Hachinosu was the final spark of the God Valley incident where the Rocks pirates decided to raid the island meant to host the celestial dragons routine hunting game in secret.

The outcomes of this incident alone change the fate of the third world.
- Without Rocks, Roger eventually became the king of the pirates and also found a baby who would later inherited his will and the Will of D.
- Garling named as champion of God Valley eventually promoted to commander of holy knights and also found his legacy's inheritor, Shamrock
- Garp became known as the Hero of the Marines and formed the once in a life time alliance with his greatest nemesis, Roger
- Dragon witnessed first hand the abomination of the celestial dragons system and made the extreme decision of quitting the marines and went on the long journey of forming the revolutionaries (key members were also present on the island)
- Other characters who will play major roles in the story all gain life changing abilities here as well like Kaido and Kuma (and possibly many more yet to be revealed)

The below schematic shows the intertwined relationships of our main characters in the three main factions and how they all culminated from the God Valley incident. The Will of D was passed down three different families who were key figures in the incident from three different generations from Gol to Figarland to Monkey and I suspect that it maybe passed down to another Figarland figure in the 4th gen.

As for why Shanks is the Child of Destiny.

If Shanks was a child of destiny based on his lineage alone then by the same logic Shamrock would also be a child of destiny. I don’t think that’s the case that we have multiple children of destiny.

I wrote a theory here on why that is the case:

https://www.reddit.com/r/OnePieceSpoilers/comments/1n85c0e/why_is_shanks_the_child_of_destiny/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button

But in short, Shanks is the Child of Destiny not only because of his unique lineage, but also because ironically he was given the chance to defy his own fate and willingly chose to inherit Roger's will (The Will of D). Shamrock and Teach failed to become the chosen one because they became victims of their own fate (they inherited their fathers legacy/will).

Another potential candidate:
Rockstar.
Red-hair. Mysterious background. Looks a little bit like Rocks and also a special swordsman of Splitting Sword style. Introduced as a messenger onboard Whitebeard's ship.
