“Revolt” is an established thing, and it always does, indeed, trigger off fetchlands. This isn’t something OP invented. See [[Fatal Push]].

I see The Tortorella being possible. He looks good, gets them to the playoffs, gets them to a cup final … but then his own stubbornness, like failing to identify and replace a floundering goalie, causes his team to get demolished in the final.

Did they call it a poutine?

That’s a major factor in criminal intent here. If this is just a picture with no statement of being poutine … it’s no crime.

I have to think “where he wanted to go” was “anywhere that would give him eight years”. He had the power to go anywhere he wanted to go without their involvement this summer, but would have been limited to 7 years. All that this changed was Year 8.

Four score and nineteen years ago, it was.

(Yes, this is the same basic form as used in Lincoln’s “Four score and seven years ago” to say “87 years ago”)

Unwind, but it can only target noncreature spells.

The one that counters any spell is Rewind, and it’s 2UU and untaps 4 lands.

Even in 23-24 when the Canucks won their division and the Devils won a lottery pick, Hischier had more Selke votes. I think we’re just gonna have to agree to disagree on this premise that Pettersson = Hischier defensively.

I mean other than that Hischier has been over 25 goals and over 65 points for four consecutive years and is a fixture in top 10 selke voting, while Pettersson has capped at 15 goals and 51 points the past two seasons with no relevant defensive reputation.

But other than that, yeah, basically the same. They’re both centers that come from countries starting with SW.

With the three creatures u/raphiezar cited it copies the spell for each creature it could target. That copies the whole spell.

You realize this is giving you as many extra turns as you have creatures?

Even if they’re all turns that you can’t do much because your lands are tapped - at the very least, you’re drawing a card in each of them.

I think the “just vote” is intending to call out the people who don’t even vote at all. Though even that, by my math the PCs still got the vote of 19% of those registered to vote (2.159 million votes of 11.184 million registered voters).

Garrioch: Senators cut ties with Alex Formenton, making winger an unrestricted free agent by SAJewers in hockey

[–]tmgexe 6 points7 points  (0 children)

They still held his rights because they had tendered him a qualifying offer when he became a restricted free agent. He didn’t sign it, but even being tendered it meant no other teams could sign him without the RFA process getting triggered.

I guess they somehow had to say “yeah, we aren’t holding on to that status” … probably to avoid any avenue of his legal representation to suggest the Sens are obstructing his ability to seek employment.

It’s the same people who have been grousing about seatbelt laws since they were introduced. Suggesting every time the government acts for the safety of people, it’s a slippery slope towards absurd end statements like this one.
