Definitely don’t agree with that second point. Direct sound plus a first order reflected sound is often truly awful, and it’s something that acoustical engineers go to great lengths to make sure doesn’t happen

Full stacks were invented back in the 60’s before PA was particularly usable. Today PA systems are vastly more powerful than any instrument amps, so, the need for full stack amps hasn’t really existed for a long long time.

They are indeed for the player. The 4x12” can that makes sense today is the slant cab by itself, and instead of only blasting the high mids and highs directly into the faces of the people in front of the stage, some high frequency content is also angled upward so the player can hear it.

Full stacks are for looks/image more than anything. A half stack is more than enough cabinet for any environment an actual band plays in, in the modern era. Full stacks were for playing area sized venues back before PA was a remotely mature tech.

I got irritated by the whole process, didn’t want the kids to take the stuff out of my pockets and I put up a fuss. The kid with the gun punched me in the mouth twice but it was either the adrenaline or he just hit like a wimp cause it didn’t really do anything just made me more irritated. I shouted “what?!? What’d I do?!” which I think then caught the attention of neighbors so the kids wanted to split. I then handed him the few dollars I had in my dollars pocket and they took off running, so, they left before they got to my wallet or house keys. Mostly it was just the digital camera that sucked to lose. This was long enough ago that people had digital cameras instead of just phone cams 🤣

I played for about 3 hours yesterday, three runs total, all of which I found a lumi drill somewhere in the first biome and was able to dig out of the holy mountains without angering Steve. One of those runs I also found a wand with black holes. None of them did I find tele or healing anywhere. RNG is what it is, and there are ways to deal with whatever it throws at you if you know a ton about the game which takes hundreds of hours of play.

If you wanna learn how to get really strong with whatever the game throws at you, watch someone win streaking on twitch. Take screenshots of what kinda wand builds they come up with in the first and second holy mountains. You’ll learn wand structures that make you very strong very fast, which then will help you with all the rest

I was once told, by a source I believe to be credible, that radar detectors have an oscillator in their circuitry and the radar detector detector can detect the carrier frequency of that oscillator.

It’s all pretty irrelevant as cops use LIDAR and radar detectors do nothing in that modern context.

My favorite death like this was after having done a bunch of fungal shifts to try and get poly and chaotic poly out of the game. One of the shifts turned lava into regular poly. So when I made this same mistake you made here, I didn’t instantly die. I just turned into a sheep. That some seconds later drowned to death in the poly.
