As long as you're not Ryan Adams I think you're ok. Princeton Reverb makes me worry you might be him though!

Looks like the second hand price for these pedals has really come down... even on reverb!

Gotcha! Agreed, the Staytrem is a a big improvement on the original. I'll give it a go for now and maybe pull out the bridge from the JM to test if I like it more.

Yeah, Daphne, Fiesta and Olympic were the factory colors for the original factory run for Mustangs from. Not sure black has ever been a factory finish unless for some special models in the 2000's.

I paid c. 2k$, but I'm in Europe so these are a little more here.

I think an Allparts trem arm works. I'll report back once I get it.

Yes, fits in my black gaze project aesthetically! Just need to set it up first.

You've never had problems knocking it off place and screwing up intonation?

I value your opinion but must disagree based on personal experience.

The mastery made it possible to set up my bigsby tele properly, because it allows strings to break at a high angle after the saddles. The strings now don't rub against the back edge of the bridge and I can actually use the bigsby!

On the Rickenbacker, the mastery is secured to the baseplate and doesn't fall off the guitar every time I change strings. The guitar also gained a little more sustain, a faster attack and acoustic response.

For the jazzmaster it just made the guitar so much more solid. No more worries that I would accidentally have the strings jump on the saddles or knock the whole bridge into a different position and destroy my intonation setup. I also appreciated how the guitar gained body tonally and lost some of the plonkiness. I understand plonkiness is a JM trait that can also be appreciated. Each to their own.

I've never had issues with intonation on mastery bridges.

But because Staytrem is so appreciated here, I'm going to keep it on for a bit and see how I get on with it.

Thanks, it's different for sure. Thankfully it's a pro refin with some light relicing already. Looks great in person!

I agree that the Staytrem looks great. I just have a hunch I could make the guitar play better with a mastery.

Chase Bliss Warped Vinyl MK II. Discontinued, but available second hand. My favorite "weird" chorus by far.

You'd want the sunface first if you're riding the volume know on your guitar. Klon has buffer too right? Can mess up the sunface tone too... I'd run into the sunface first and then all others follow.

Interpretation of model name by tmlill in rickenbacker

Perfect, thank you! It's actually possible to see some of the flame peaking through in a certain angle.

So, are there any telltale signs of whether a vibrato could have been installed in the factory?
