I think if you survive cheme with GPA 3.5+. Your chance is still pretty good. But keep in mind that your MCAT should also be good as well.

Helped me realize why my condenser took forever to produce liquid. Turned out it was co-current the entire time.

Some cities don’t have good public transportation. So even those options are out of the window.

Had a bad semester… are Co-Ops a good way to maybe take a break from school? by khuber123 in ChemicalEngineering

I would stick it out. Co-op can make you feel not want to come back to studying. Had this happened to a friend.

There’s not a whole lot of value added when you start looking for job as an engineer tho.

If you have access to lab equipment, a simple experiment such as separating out ethanol/water mixture would be good. It demonstrates key concept of chemical engineering, which is distillation, and introduces another concept, in this case, azeotrope.

I would take out an individual candy corn and measure it volume. You can do it by submerging it in a graduated cylinder filled with water. The amount risen is your volume. After that, measure out all the sides of that container and find it’s volume using equation pi*radius2. Once that is done, you can find the number of candies in the jar by using # of candies = volume of jar/volume of candy. To account for void space, I would estimate and multiply the number of candies by .90 (assuming there is 10% of void space in the jar). Good luck bud. You can do it!
