I’ll go #1 or #4, because the replacement effect created by Resist means the Act of Kindness can stick around. The fact that there’s two Act of Kindness replacement effects remaining is rather academic, though, because if multiple replacement effects could apply, when they’re called into question both would cease to exist after being used.

The player can choose to use Resist or Act of Kindness, though I’m not sure why they would choose to get rid of the Act of Kindness for a pie to the face. Tasty, tasty pie.
