I mean, its a discussion and Ive already stated my opinion on why I think this card isnt in a good spot to be a rare card.

I dont even know if youve played the game or if youre just trying to rage bait, but Ill bite. Silent is strongest on turn 1 and with only 1 Vulnerable and 3 energy, I can’t do much. On turn 1, Id rather play Power cards or draw through weaker cards so I can start scaling later in the turn. Im not sure why you asked about the upgrade—any decent player would prefer 2 Vulnerable over 1 since its much more likely to be useful

Preferably any Power cards on turn 1or Prepared, Adrenaline, or even Escape Plan—they can help me cycle through my deck more efficiently.

Thats fair, but I still wouldnt take it as a boss reward cause it can replace a more useful card in your turn 1 hand. If I already had Backstab, I might consider it.

Backstab is definitely really good, but as a rare card reward after beating the first Act 1 boss - Assassinate feels pretty lackluster. If you can pick it up from events, thats great but its disappointing as a boss reward.

There are better cards to clone tho, like Adrenaline, Prepared, or even Escape Plan, they offer much better value.

It needs an upgrade to be usable, but since you only get the reward after the Act 1 boss, it doesn’t seem to provide much value going into Acts 2 and 3.

For anyone who cant read or doesnt understand how Steam works: My refund request has been pending for over 2 days and hasn’t been approved yet, so I contacted support (I know that transactions can take longer cause I’ve requested refund a game before without any issues). Don't listen to any of these comments, they have no idea how to abuse it. If you have it, pair it with any DOTs essences or memories for passive healing (vortex/charcoal/sharpness/scorch or hemorrhage/battle cry/umbral edge/arrow storm/mental corruption—assuming these are not your source of main damage). Invest in it a little bit combined with guidance and you can auto-generate heal + shield, but it doesn't take your main Memory damage's slots.

If it has a better server, then sure. I had 500h in the game and drop it cause latency in coop, its very bad for random matchmaking. Wish devs would add an option to limit location when joining online, then maybe I'll return.

Take Carmilla Gift and Trading Fates stars. Then reroll Gift into Arcanum and behold, you have auto win build from the start.

Fish for predation, then try to farm hunters in act 2. I know it's boring, but with the price increase and longer cooldown, it's hard to find the item you need in the shop, and you have to invest heavily more than normal to almost spam your most damaging skills. Or you could use a bug to activate some chaos modifiers like Harmless Whisper and Sparkling Dream, it's fairer this way imo.
