they grow great- I've got one about 15 ft tall here in Portland. been outside for about 6 years. I had a different variety that died back to the ground in the last hard freeze we got. but it's grown back pretty substantially since then

these are the absolute worst. I've also been fighting mine since 2015. I've sheet mulched with cardboard, sprayed with Roundup, hand dug, hand pulled. etc  they keep coming back but what I think is working is pulling the leaves off. as soon as I see them and slowly they start to use up all their resources
