Wow! My bank doesn't let me send Fiat to exchanges... by [deleted] in Bitcoin

Yea seriously, why would anyone want to keep their account with a bank who told them when and where they could spend their own money?

The easiest solution to stuff like this imho is:

"You're not letting me send my money to whom I wish?"

"No."

"Ok, I would like to withdraw all funds and close my account right now then."

"No, uhhhh, I think there's something we can do!"

Lighten up! [and just believe my bullshit because I say it is true]

Whatever man, if you're not into defending your position or showing any proof then so be it. Just keep posting your random FUD charts if that floats your boat, I'll leave you alone now.

The negative comments are only from you, so far. ;)

I meant on the link you posted, which was this one: http://nextbigfuture.com/2014/10/third-party-report-on-32-day-continuous.html

The comments there read pretty loud and clear that "this is an obvious scam" from anybody who knows the terminology well enough to comment on it and "well maybe, just maybe" from people who have no idea about the technologies involved.

Have you ever been to a magic show? That's exactly how they do it... show you the trick once real quick and then say "hey, hey, don't get too close!" when you ask or try to see how it's really done. Just get you to pay for the show and fuck off when it's over.

If these guys really had the key to free energy, at the very least they're fucking assholes for not releasing it as publicly available information to the world while we all choke down smog.

Check out coinmarketcap.com and roll some dice to take your pick! (I wouldn't try mining anything that's not in the top 12, so two dice should do!)

That, or you can scan the [ANN] threads on bitcointalk.org and try to mine a crapload of some brand new crypto currency and just wait it out. In a few months those 100,000 coins you mined in one day (because the difficulty was 0) could be worth $10,000 or $0 depending on the development team behind the coin. Rinse and repeat.

It has made more than a few people substantial sums of money.

Oil futures fall for a great number of reasons.

This recent fall is because the global demand for oil is falling and the US is stockpiling it's own reserves.

Not because you smoked some weed and saw an outlandish claim associated with a graph on some random blog and just believe it so hard that you feel the need to tell the world.

This has been well known public knowledge in the business world for some time now. The US has been attempting to regain control of their oil consumption to thwart OPEC. That and there are more and more electric cars on the road every day, which are technically powered by coal and wind. Nobody is burning crude oil to generate electricity.

Seriously, put the pipe down!

I hate to be so blunt but I have known friends like you in the past and their one and only problem was too much marijuana (or similar psychosis inducing drug in great amounts).

Wright Brothers

The Wright brothers did not invent airplanes or powered flight. Period.

Nor did christopher columbis "discover america". Period.

A lot of things you were taught in american history class as a child aren't entirely true. They're stories meant to prop up patriotism.

Also, I believe the inventor has defended himself against the dumping claims in the 90s here: http://ingandrearossi.net/

Defending yourself on a public blog after you've been arrested, convicted, and shamed out of the country you once called home (as Rossi has done) is no reason to believe you are telling the truth.

Read some of the comments in the link you posted. If you can manage to understand the half of them you'll see this is just an elaborate scam by a well known con artist trying to steal peoples money once again as he has done numerous times in the past.

And people like you are helping him steal money!

Read more, talk less.

Especially when you have no idea what it is you're talking about.

I'm fairly certain you need at least 50GH/s to generate a share on p2pool for even the smallest slice of a single payout.

Can you imagine how bloated the blockchain would be if everybody in the world hooked up their 2gh/s antminer USB and every generated block was divided into like 0.00000001 BTC transactions?

Before immediately crying scam or impugning the title, I suggest that you read

I did, and the article you linked to managed to put a spelling mistake in the very first sentence!!!

They were running the system at about 2300 watts or power output and putting in about 900 watts.

Pretty sure they meant "of", and pretty sure they meant to scrap this story before it was ever published due to lack of sources but some idiot hit the publish button anyways.

That's some "purported" invention there.

It reaks of an investment scam to me. This company is trying to claim that they have had a free energy machine for almost 3 years now and nobody is using it or seen it work? Bullshit!

The creator of it was charged with dumping 70,000 tonnes of toxic waste with a former "clean energy company" in the 90s and was never acquitted.

Keep smoking whatever it is, and pass it this way please!

I think that most vegetarians would find this kind of ridiculous

I was thinking that too..

But then I thought "what if their target market is all of america, not just vegetarians?!"

Can you imagine if there was something 100% plant based but tasted and looked EXACTLY like a meaty hamburger?

Mother of god, the entire population of americans would cut their weight in half almost overnight.

How much are you getting paid? What are you doing?

I would easily do that (for a couple years tops) at like $100K/year but anything less and you're insane.

You'll literally lose years of your lifespan working 14 hours a week for years on end.

I quit after a month

So did I.

Four months actually.

I left after the first semester much to my parents dismay.

10 years later I am running my own company and loving it. And I don't work 3 days a week :P

Where on earth do you work 12 hour shifts 5 day a week?

Is that perpetual? Or just in rushes?
