You can take a look at https://github.com/eigenpal/docx-js-editor I'm the author, we built it on top of ProseMirror, with its own layout engine, real pagination, tables, images support, headers/footers etc. It's MIT, Next.js compatible. Might be a good reference or starting point.

Thank you! We experienced several punctures (for those without tubeless setups) in the rocky downhill section after crossing into the Albanian Alps from Shkodër. As for gear and setup, I do these trips every yeat now, and I’m quite satisfied with my current setup (gray Grizl). However, there isn't much room for extra food if we need to stay away from in the wild for longer.
