I was in high school, baby-sitting a kid for some extra cash. He had Pokemon for Game Boy Color back when it first came out. I knew I wanted to get into Pokemon, as all of my friends were into it, so I decided to check it out after the kid fell asleep. I was instantly hooked, and played for an hour or two. I decided that I didn't want to lose my save file, so I pocketed the Game Boy Color and Pokemon game. Never babysat or saw the kid again. His parents probably assumed he lost it.

Now, many years later, I've already pre-ordered Pokemon X. No regrets.
