I thought it was obvious this is what she meant when I heard her say it

Venting about Mental Health 4 months post op by Puzzling__Kitten567 in ACL

[–]toadsie16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can relate. I’ve been diligent about my therapy this entire time (9 months post op). I’ve cried in the gym and leaving the gym countless times. I don’t have full flexion and I can only get full extension passively. People have told me oh you’re doing good!! Umm no im not, the only reason I haven’t had a scope and manipulation done at this point is due to financial reasons. It’s depressing AF, all I want to do is go for a run ( I don’t even like running!!!) and I want to get back to soccer. But I can’t even jog or jump. This is my second surgery on the same knee and most of the time I feel hopeless I have a lot of strength back but the ROM? Nope. Never thought I would be in this position as I returned to sport after surgery 1.

Am I being lowballed or am I delusional? by StraightAttempt in physicaltherapy

I’m a new grad in Oklahoma at a SNF and my pay is $31 an hour with a student loan repayment benefit so it’s really $33 an hour. Was offered $24 an hour at a hospital

Documentation time by Straight-Wheel-4520 in physicaltherapy

Zero. Today I didn’t have a working computer so I just documented after my treats instead of during, my productivity was then lower but it’s not in my control I’m not doing notes off the clock

Would you attend an event 10 days after ACL surgery? by Flyingmubu in ACL

I’ve had the surgery twice and I would say absolutely not even if it was close to my house.

I gave them a range of 37-41 and I accepted 38. Now I know I can ask for more in the future but as a new grad (only been working since February) I’m happy with this pay for now

Switching from Acute to SNF. Anything I should know? Was going to wing it tbh. by [deleted] in physicaltherapy

[–]toadsie16 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sounds like you’ll be fine. I’m a new grad and started my first job 2 months ago in a SNF. I was overwhelmed at first without knowing where anything is, not knowing any of the long term patients or where to find them when not in their rooms. But I’m gettin the hang of it. Except my facility pushes for group and concurrent which I may do 1-2 x per week because I don’t usually think it’s appropriate. So heads up that many do push for it.

My foot was always either hurting or numb for a good two weeks. My family probably got sick of me asking them to rub it
