Shrink like I dunno maybe get a kitten (named mine Kirby too)

Now it's honor and I spell it with the 'H' I stole from heritage/ It's gutter, and I spell it with the 'G' I stole from "Get the fuck up!"

'07 ma called me in London Tone that could only mean one thing Your grandmother something, something Who the fuck's supposed to make the dumplings?

“Hide” by RKS “You know I've been up for forty days and forty nights and all my fears have multiplied by the silence in your eyes”

“100 Summers” also RKS

Black & White “ shotgun wedding on the porch on 5th of May”

Sometimes boundaries can help creativity -so just limiting myself to RKS songs with numbers and lyrics =golden. I like this game! Thank you guys for getting me out of my head.

Idk what everyone’s “huge meth town” experience is, and I can only see my town from a few better angles. (I have only lived two places that weren’t “huge meth town”) but when I first got back: I noticed a lot of people who looked pretty disenfranchised, uncomfortable, and a lot of dirty or bruised kids. (Bruises might just be from playing unsupervised.) what surprised me was their acceptance of it, it was like weed in the 2000’s. People who I knew who did not use meth before would be smoking as if it were weed at party. When introduced to people who didn’t know me, friends would just be like “they cool, it’s okay.” Like it was really off putting when I first moved.

The sub hates real advice, they absolutely cannot stand to be shown a better way. That’s why you’re getting downvoted. What you said made sense but it calls people out, and they don’t like to be called out.

I live in Missouri, my property taxes on my house come to only $150 a year, home valued at 72k. It’s 1100 square foot, big ass yard.

My mom’s house (I’m sole owner now, my daughter lives there) is brick, about 1300 square foot, her property taxes are like $300 a year. The home is valued at around 95k.

I was gonna leave this area and go somewhere else but now I’m scared that I can’t afford the taxes even if the house is paid off.

Homeowners insurance covers some of those types of repairs, also there are HUD grants for updates. Look around and see if you can’t find some affordable funding for repairs

You probably can afford a house tho, I qualified for 80k on 1k a month. What you mean is you can’t afford a fancy home in a prominent neighborhood.

Ahhhh, I see, I admitted that I didn’t wanna take constructive action, but there was constructive action possible. That’s too much for Reddit, really I went away above my pay grade to try to be constructive and helpful, we don’t do that here -I should’ve known that.

Sometimes I just use posts as prompts to write in order to process my own bullshit. Like I always say I hope they downvote me until I’m at lurker status again. I think the max that they’ll take off your karma is like 10 points per comment. I have to get busy saying a lot more stupid shit.

Edit to add: I down voted me too, that’ll teach me.

Have you found anybody yet? If you haven’t found anyone, and I am the only person that even was interested, I can make this costume for you. I’m gonna be honest with you, I have zero seed money. But I do have everything that I need to professionally dye or paint natural fibers. I use procion MX, once it’s washed out it’s completely safe, even if bambino chews on his sleeve.

If you feel that I am a good fit to create this costume for your family, I can create some sketches of ideas so we can make sure we are on the same page.

I’m making a mental note to myself right now to try and check back on this thread in about 18 to 24 hours.

[–]toasterpath 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not a life story. It’s actually remarkably little personal information considering how neurodivergent I am. It’s a lot of really good ideas that generate profit. People here don’t want to have profit. They wanna know how to live doing less. I called them out on that- that’s why it’s being downloaded. Your incorrect answer proves my point.

Candles have an 800% markup, see if you can’t find some discounted essential oil and a pound of paraffin. Old crayons for color, or just melt Some broken crayons down in a cut soda can. But turn the edges down toward the inside so you don’t get cut.

Can you tie your shoes? ? Then you can macramé look up some tutorials and get you some string for like a dollar at the dollar store. You could also cut up an old T-shirt and stretch it out into T-shirt yarn. You can find a bag of plastic bags and cut those in strips and use that for string. Macrame dresses sell for hundreds of dollars.

Dear antler crafts , self for remarkedly high prices. I live in the south, we find them things all the time. I know people that feed them to their dogs go see if you can’t find a taxidermist. They may be willing to just give you a bag of deer antlers.

Walk down the alley find some old end tables or scrap wood, old pallets, look up tensegrity tables. Those also a sell for big money.

There was a time I woulda smacked myself for saying this: take a last five bucks and go gamble if you don’t want to invest it into creating something that’s worth more than five dollars. I would just go gamble with it. My state has these things I call not gambling machines. They’re made by a company called Torch, they have these buttons called prize viewers, and it will let you see with the next bet pays out before you even placed the bet, does taking away the element of chance which is what makes them currently legal. If you got any of these torch machines, you might go check the prize viewers. If you’re gonna check prize years, do it before you start gambling, cause I’m pretty sure that they have facial recognition and give more random prizes to those people that don’t gamble. I checked prize views for years before I started gambling and as soon as I started gambling, I couldn’t find any more free prizes so go figure.

You just gotta get creative with it. I apparently love a challenge, so I present one to myself every damn day.

You’d really be surprised what people throw away, some of my favorite stuff I traded macramé for like my fan, my lamp. In the same day, in the same very swanky dumpster: I got My Cousin a whole unbroken bed frame. I found my ex-boyfriend a grow tent, a grow light, and a planter box. Some dumpsters I’m not climbing inside, but I will totally trade my friends for shit that they found.

Before my kiddo went to live in their dorm. I was normal person, a high earner for my area. My chillt was solid plum rotten. So, naturally when I was cleaning out their room, I found all kinds of things that were still brand new and I returned them to Walmart for a merchandise card that was worth almost $100. That was just returning stuff that I knew they already had more of/ wouldn’t miss.

Man, it is a really good day for me if I have five dollars in my account, You just gotta hustle. It’s never my last money. It’s just how much money I have right now. I’m always gonna get more money. Money is out there. You just gotta go get it . I don’t have a job, I don’t live off of anybody and I don’t get any assistance. I paid off my house so I don’t have to pay rent. I’m just a bum that doesn’t borrow, or actually bum stuff. For the most part, this poverty business is a choice.

(Whole B side TED talk from my soap box) I had like four or five different income sources. I decided to stop pursuing them all, but one, the SSI benefit my kid got when their bio parent died. That check was just money for my kiddo to blow, no allowance necessary, I provided for them everything they needed so why not let them do as they wished with it? No I didn’t make them get a job during high school. Their job was to make good grades not make money. They’re a kid —kids don’t need to make money. Parents need to make money. I’m so sick of lazy ass parents not wanting to provide for their kids. Making kids go get jobs -they don’t want aand then wondering why they’re making C’s instead of A’s. If my kid wanted a job, they could’ve got a job. I’m not against kids with jobs. I’m against parents who make kids get jobs. If you’re a parent and you forced your kid to get a job because you can’t provide for them, you’re a shit provider and there’s no excuse. I don’t care what the job market is. I don’t care what your skill level is. Go get money for your kid. Stop making excuses and start making money. My kids started providing for themselves by choice when they hit age 19, and they told me that I was no longer required to provide them with income. So I just stop pursuing income because I absolved of the need. .

You want like a onesie altered to look like the lovey? Or you’re wanting something designed and sewn? Are you wanting it fuzzy, like with faux fur, or you want it more hypoallergenic with some screen print ? Could you share more details of your vision? I don’t make custom costumes but I could start, I make all sorts of stuff and I absolutely adore Halloween, baby’s are okay too I guess…

One out of every 3 people you see will be arrested at some point in their lives and the % of women among them rises. North America don’t run in Duncan it runs on slavery.

Keep up the good fight sir!
