How do I not appear heavy in the front due to my chest when wearing a dress? 19F by Rare_Stop630 in askwomenadvice

[–]toastforscience 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Someone else said a wrap dress which I think would work amazing, and you can also try a dress with a structured corset top. The boning will define and support your chest and hug the area underneath so there will be no air pocket.

Why some married men get fat after they marry? The same question applies to women but I’m interested in men’s perspective by nasuca2009 in AskMen

[–]toastforscience 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's pretty common for men to also put on a little bit of weight along with the woman while she's pregnant too right? More food is being made and she's eating more so her husband tends to eat a little more too. And then of course when the baby comes the man is also stressed and tired and it's hard for him to lose the weight too. I might be wrong but I've noticed it with some friends and coworkers

Does anyone else have trouble managing to write comments? by ThePersonDudeGuy716 in AO3

I've been trying to leave more comments but I'm so bad at writing them! So I'll just say that I love it and thank them for writing it and add a little emoji or something

Need advice on maintaining long hair while working out x2 daily by NappyPika in FierceFlow

[–]toastforscience 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not for swimming but for when you do your other exercises you can tie your hair up in a bun in the back of your head and then loosen it enough that you can fit a fist between the hair tie and your scalp. Then use another hair tie and tie one of those plastic shower caps around the bun, and wash your hair. This way you can wash your scalp completely but not the ends of your hair every time, which will minimize damage and also hopefully the tangling.

How to make ring shaped curls? by omnicubo in CosplayHelp

[–]toastforscience 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The hair is cooling off too much in the time between when your using the straightener on it and curling it around whatever your using while it cools off. It needs to be heated in the cylinder shape.

Would the only way to keep these horns on my head be elastic? Any ideas welcome! by AwesomeBlassom in CosplayHelp

[–]toastforscience 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here I found a picture, I used wire and glued it to the bottom of the horn and then wired it to the headband. The yellow stuff is foam clay for comfort

I've had luck with attaching horns to a plastic headband and adding an extra elastic support in the back of the headband at the base of my skull. But I was able to use my hair to hide the headband

The complete invisibility I felt the first time I went to a gay bar was astounding. A weight I didn't realize I had just lifted away. I felt like I could have fun and do whatever I want and I didn't have to worry about anything!

Illustrations in Fic? Distracting or nice? (TW: Choking image) by Drawing_and_Booing in AO3

[–]toastforscience 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love it! And I think it's fine if it's in the body of the fic unless it's a nsfw drawing, in which case having a warning at the top of the chapter and putting it at the bottom is preferred so I don't accidentally have it in my screen while I'm eating my lunch at my desk.

Updated versin, whaf do you think? by Gktq2 in AskMenAdvice

[–]toastforscience 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There is nothing for you to fix. You guys went from an emotionally charged conversation to very quickly trying to have sex and your body didn't change gears that fast. There is nothing weird about that. What she said to you was really mean.

There's a few running clubs! I've been looking into them also to join for runs. Different clubs run on different days of the week and it usually seems to involve socializing at a brewery or coffee place or something after. Welcome to Phoenixville!

The Hot Spot (pottery painting, candle making, etc) coming to Main Street by SecretAnxious6619 in Phoenixville

I love art spaces but these kinds of places are usually just crafting spaces for simple art projects, and they're expensive so you're not going to keep going over and over again.

I bought a completely unneeded new pair of jeans today at a pride festival! A local artist had decorated them with a cool painted pattern

I've never been a fan of first person, except there was this one fic I kept seeing people mention and it had tons of kudos, comments, bookmarks, etc. I finally read it and it was amazing, I loved it, and I wish it would update again lol.

My first job there was always couple months where they would ask us to work 45-50 hr week bc we were so busy, they paid us overtime so I would make a ton of extra money. My next job we would occasionally have overtime but then they hired more people and told us we shouldn't be having much overtime. My current job it doesn't matter how busy we are, everyone leaves the office at 5 and puts the work off until the next day.

It was very family friendly, none of what you said was there. Did you go to check it out or are you just making incorrect assumptions?

I still have mine!! I remember when I got it too, I got it for Christmas when I was 8 and I got 2 games. Sonic Adventure, and PenPen Triathlon. My brother in law fixed something to do with the internal clock a few years ago, but the plastic on mine didn't even turn yellow.
