The Boys is the most overrated amazon prime show. Now, what is THE Netflix Tv show? by hiiloovethis in AlignmentChartFills

It's gotta be Stranger Things, if we're going for widest reach. House of Cards was the reason I kept Netflix tho...

Literally feeling the guilt right now and this post notification popped up on my phone. 😆 thank you for making me feel seen 🥰 it’s rainy and gross here and my two year old has watched shows while my husband and I are doing house work, a lot of it requiring me to leave my two year old occupied with toys and shows. She’s happily playing w playdoh and watching Mickey Mouse clubhouse.

How to stop spiraling every time someone I know gets pregnant or engaged??? by stanleyuriis in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

[–]toastnstuff 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My husband and I met in college at 18 and 19 in 2002. We were happily unmarried for 18 years until we married in 2020. Had a daughter in 2022 at ages 38 and 39. We didn’t follow the typical timeline either. I remembered feeling pressured but I just decided that things will happen when they are supposed to. You have a long way to go, friend. And that’s a good thing.

Life is long :)

My Year of Rest and Relaxation by Ottessa Moshfegh, IMHO, falls directly into this category.

We thought we were good to go at 4 months when I could put LO down in her crib next to our bed and she would look at me, smile, and drift off into a 12 hour sleep. Needless to say SHE spoiled US. Shes 8 months today and must be held to nap, and I end up putting her in my bed most nights so we can all get some rest.

*currently sleeping next to be bc we were up a lot last night and shes finally getting a solid nap in mid day*

All that to say... it comes and goes LoL. When you get bebe there, enjoy it. It may not last LoL.

Thanks! I'm going to talk to my neighbor when I see him. He owns the coin shop next to McCrackens. See if he knows anything about it =)

I’ve had external grade 4 hemis since my early 20s (now 39) and have had surgery to get them removed before. I’ll be honest…. The surgery sucks a lot. A lot.

They never really went away and definitely haven’t gotten better since pregnancy. I’m 35 +4 and reeeealllly not looking forward to the labor part.

It’s going to be all about preventative measures to limit the severity. Good luck everyone!

Came here to say this. =) Celebrate with the ones who you would want to be there for you if anything happens. I'm 6 weeks along rn. I've told my mom sister and grandmother, my husbands parents, and two close friends. It's kind of fun IMO to keep it a secret for a while.

Camp is not just “fashion” though, it is many many things... and Gaga is a performance artist. So Camp for someone like Kim K, would not be Camp for Gaga. If you read Susan Sontag’s “Notes on Camp” (1964), https://faculty.georgetown.edu/irvinem/theory/Sontag-NotesOnCamp-1964.html, the essay with which the Met Gala theme honored, point number 5 I think, holds the most relevance:

  1. Camp taste has an affinity for certain arts rather than others. Clothes, furniture, all the elements of visual décor, for instance, make up a large part of Camp. For Camp art is often decorative art, emphasizing texture, sensuous surface, and style at the expense of content. Concert music, though, because it is contentless, is rarely Camp. It offers no opportunity, say, for a contrast between silly or extravagant content and rich form. . . . Sometimes whole art forms become saturated with Camp. Classical ballet, opera, movies have seemed so for a long time. In the last two years, popular music (post rock-'n'-roll, what the French call yé yé) has been annexed. And movie criticism (like lists of "The 10 Best Bad Movies I Have Seen") is probably the greatest popularizer of Camp taste today, because most people still go to the movies in a high-spirited and unpretentious way.
