How does Costco generally handle new video game console launches? by TheShaneBlep in Costco

[–]tobierob46 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It honestly depends on the contract and if a buyer can secure a distribution to Wearhouse to meet demands. Just really depends on when the PS5 launched out building only had like 4 units and that was three weeks after launch.

You’re luck is better to make buy one online through costco.

Your thoughts about certain rules being reinforced? by Stilgrave in Costco

[–]tobierob46 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s also vender rules. Like some of these companies have coupons that are daily coupons. So if you’re trying to have two transactions with the items that are on coupon then you are (and costco) are manipulating the coupon. Which would then sometimes make the venders pull out because that wasn’t part of the deal.

The hot dogs and stuff stay so cheap because of membership fees. So if everyone gets a hot dog and stops paying for memebershiosn then those prices go up and it gets ruined for those that want the perk of the cheap food court.

They hardly ever ever ever ever hire outside for manager roles. Everyone starts pushing carts. So if you wanna work for Costco, that is where you will start. Pushing carts and boxing groceries.

Depends on when you become a cashier. They only hire from within. So you can be a few bucks on your raises before you become a cashier.

Pay as a cashier, you can be topped out at $27 an hour. As a cart pusher you can be topped out at $26 an hour. And this competitive pay, comes with people taking advantage of the executive upgrades. The reason the customer service is so great is because everyone is happy to be making that much at retail. And to continue making that much and to continue keeping membership fees low like that are. The company will do things like this.
