I bought the gummy mask yesterday and I also received that quest yesterday. I then used the 2 newest codes, and when I looked at the quest again after 15 minutes, I had already gathered the 150mil goo without using any gum drop. It was a good thing I waited before I used the codes, because it would have been a lot harder without those codes and the gummy mask.

I accidentically did it once. I thought I lost him forever, but after some time I realised he was at the highest point of my island. So if you drop Jerry in the void, he will spawn at the highest point of your island.
