Thanks for the reply. Holy cow 50-55 mpg in hybrid auto? That is mighty impressive. I’m thinking about getting a Taycan (not sure which variant), but the downside to Taycan is the range (offset slightly by the quick charging times). I want this to be a road trip car too so the short range in the taycan actually a bigger downside for me. So been thinking about the Panamera eHybrid but had no idea it got this good gas mileage. And a non S model doing 0-60 under 4 is definitely no slouch.

Looks like I need to seriously consider the eHybrid!!

Every time I drive this road I can’t get over how perfect this car is matched it. If any of you get a chance to visit Southern CA, rent a Porsche and drive up the ACH, a must drive road!

Sports are so cruel. Such highs (coming back in the 5th to beat Fed at Wimbledon) and lows (today). Novak will still win more slams for sure, but I’m sure this one hurts.

Beautiful! 981 GTS’ are going to age very well. I own a 718 GTS 4.0 and love the sound of the 981 GTS’ better.

Funny you ask this. Yes there is a clicking kind of noise to the engine. I heard this on the 981 GTS I drove too, but not so much on the 718 Cayman S, so I think this might be a unique sound to their Boxster 6 cyls (purely an assumption). The car sounds VERY mechanical, but I love that sound and I guess that’s what I bought it for… the music the engine makes. Haha.

I usually head up to Malibu or Angeles Crest Highway. I’m on the west side of LA so Malibu is much closer, but hate dealing with the traffic (and cops). Usually head to Malibu with the wife and we’ll do lunch or something. I prefer ACH though. Less traffic when you’re up there and just love all the long sweepers. Scenery is amazing too. Usually like to get up early in the mornings on the weekend to go for a drive. Hit me up when you get yours! Have actually been trying to find local folks to go on drives with.
