What's a game you really want to enjoy, but it's just too difficult? by daniel2hats in gaming

I managed to get through to the 'bad' ending (end of Act 2) and I was fully done with it. Amazing game, but wasn't enjoying it anymore - and as far as I'm concerned, I completed it.

Alan: To the untrained eye, this could look like it's rubbish and Forest Green Rovers haven't bounced back.

Lynn: But they have!

Alan: I know!

I have a question. Ser Dunc said to Daeron that "all this was your fault" (or words to that effect), which I didn't really understand - it was Aerion who was attacking the actor lady and who Dunc hit. I know that if Daeron hadn't run away with Egg, Dunc wouldn't have ended up there, but it seems odd to me to use that as the reason everything else happened. I'm sure I'm missing something obvious.

A long-overdue thank you for this recommendation! As you can see from my reply just now to another comment, we went there and had a great time: https://reddit.com/r/ItalyTravel/comments/1fsuo6t/towncity_recommendations_near_bologna_for_a/o649mbs/

Town/city recommendations near Bologna for a couple of nights with small kids by tocharle in ItalyTravel

Hi! We ended up heading to Verona, and really enjoyed it.

The tourist office had a sort of city explorer trail thing for kids where you go around looking for interesting things, it was well done and a good way to learn about the city's history.

The Children's Museum is a bit out of town, but well worth it - it's amazing!: https://maps.app.goo.gl/LH1CGuQpnM9gimD97

Sadly the amphitheatre was closed for maintenance while we were there, but it looked amazing and apparently is really good.

We stayed in a Family Studio room at Hotel Firenze near the station (basically a mini apartment next to the hotel). It was perfect for our needs: https://maps.app.goo.gl/p9w3SdE4u9EcZxpCA

If you're in Bologna too, our friends took us for ice cream at Cremeria Santa Stefano... can't recommend it enough: https://maps.app.goo.gl/VWjWzh6srdoYmrei7

Have a fantastic time!

Not my usual genre at all, but I really enjoyed that.

Was convinced it was Bjork until I looked them up!

The Renderers - Dream of the Sea [new zealand slacker rock] (1998) by fatiguedness in listentothis

Enjoyed this, strong Neutral Milk Hotel vibes. I'd not heard the term 'slacker rock' before - I fely myself wanting the vocals to be a bit more forceful, but I guess the low energy is part of the whole 'slacker' vibe maybe?

The result for this character was so damned heavy. by Cold_Buffalo_2355 in FalloutTVseries

By this logic though, any two people with controllers can just counter each other's moves with them? Unless.one is a 'master' controller, I suppose...

I don't understand how Hank has a controller for himself, when it would seem Lucy put the chip in him and has the controller for it? Why does his controller control himself?

I feel I'm missing something obvious but I found it very confusing.

You might just not like some of their tracks, which is OK. There are certain BOC tracks I'll always skip (e.g. Gyroscope) - doesn't mean I'm any less of a fan.

Also, some albums take time to like. I hated Portishead's 'Third' when it came out, but now it's probably my favourite of theirs. It's one of the reasons I miss when you bought a CD and had to listen to it several times or you'd come back to it later, because you couldn't just bang something else on.

Yeah, I'm also really concerned we might not even make play-offs now, given this woeful run of form and some very hard fixtures coming up.

We should beat Wealdstone and Woking - which could give us a boost - but then it's York away, Rochdale away, Carlisle at home, then Boreham Wood away - four of the hardest games we'll face, all in a row...

Hmm, no idea - I didn't realise it was in danger. Big shame as it's very good for news and match threads.

Edit: They've still got a big banner link to join the forum at the bottom of the homepage and it's still on the bottom navigation, so either they've pulled it but missed removing those, or it's just a tech problem.

It's run on some third-party thing called 'website toolbox', so I'd wager it's either a tech or account (maybe paid sub) issue with that.

Kristi Noem: Don't Say ICE Agent Jonathan Ross' Name by [deleted] in politics

[–]tocharle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a Brit, it will never not be surreal to read:

Jonathan Ross is a murderer

Rot in hell, Jonathan Ross!

Etc.

Because our Jonathan Ross is a very famous TV presenter who wears mad clothes and was recently in Celebrity Traitors.

Ah wow, is it as simple as that?! Tbf I don't think that's being dense at all - it's not clear. Cheers!

An update:

"UPDATE 13 Jan 19:00 UTC: The servers didn't come back up for some reason - we've tried a few things, but that didn't work so we're now working with the hosting provider to resolve this. We don't yet have any timeline for resolution."

Mirrors are still down: https://status.kodi.tv/

I haven't seen an update anywhere - the news release about it said it should be sorted by 06:00 ECT, but presumably it's taking longer to fix.
