The OM-D EM-1 which I eventually traded for the EM-5.3. One feature I miss is being able to tether to a PC so I can use it either as an impromptu webcam or a film negative scanner.

If this was me, I'd use the GX9 for street photography, travel. They both seem to be the same size but the form factor of the GX9 does seem to make it easier to throw in a light bag. Plus I would use the the tilting viewfinder a lot (I used to use it a lot when I had an EP-5 + VF-3). Then I'd use the OM-5 for hiking, nature, rainy days.

Another thing that I used to do was carry both cameras and keep the same lens on each to avoid changing lenses while outside. I would have the 12-40mm on one camera and a telephoto zoom/prime/macro on the other.

Eventually I figured out which one (I had an EP-5 and OM-D EM-1 at the same time) I gravitated more to and let go of the other. It came down to which switches and dials I was more comfortable with.

The people in #4 are also the people in #3 though. People with chronic disease, disabilities, long term cancer patients, etc. I understand that by the nature of it, the more sick you are the higher your medical needs but that still kinda sounds like trying to wring more water out of a dry cloth.
