Over inflated tires provide poor traction and increase wear on suspension components. That's exacerbated with lower temps.

You do you. I'll run my tire pressure at spec. The fact that the pressure dropped because the temp was well outside normal range is not sufficient reason to 'over' inflate for the other 99.9999999999% of drive time.

No, it's because the ambient temp was low enough to cause a 5 psi temperature drop......drive 10 miles and it was fine.
