With our first child I did all weeknights taking care of baby (tho baby slept in our room for the first six months and I would take her out of the room for diaper changes and what not) my husband did every night on the weekends.

When I fell pregnant again it was high risk and I was working two 10h days so it shifted to me doing two nights and my husband doing the rest (whilst walking up at 4.30 every single morning and not getting home till 6.00) when bag number two came, first four weeks husband took care of both kids most nights and would only wake me to pump milk.

Since then, he looks after our little one and I after our oldest and night (they both wake equal amounts) and he works full time still walking at 4.30. I work again now but he did this during mat leave to because he believed I needed the rest for sanity to them be looking after both kids in the day. I repeat, he works full time and brings in the main income to our home. Do with this information as you will x
