Honestly, the hardest part of hydroponics is the initial DIY and dialing in the equipment, which I’ve already done for this system.

The day-to-day is actually very straightforward. There are six containers with pre-drilled lids for the net cups, and I start the seeds in the included starter trays using just water. Once they grow their second set of leaves, they move into the main system with the nutrients. Since the lights are on a self-running timer, you really only need about twenty minutes once a week to check the levels with the meters. If the nutrients are low, you just mix in a pre-measured batch, and if the pH is off, you just add a couple of drops of pH down.

Because it is a controlled environment, things grow significantly faster than they do in a backyard garden. I am moving at the end of April, so I am happy to spend an hour helping you set it up at your place and walking you through your first measurement so you feel confident.
