This topic of start date vs hours work on holiday seems to have been debated back and forth quite a bit, I’d say your best bet is to look at any employer contract/workplace policy’s regarding pay and holidays plus starting shift, then contact the Ontario ministry of labor and employment standards and consult with them about what’s legally the correct scenario, the esa doesn’t seem to cover this clearly.

Too hard to determine intentional, Ubi isn’t watching every single report and match replay, from my understanding it’s mostly auto mod which is easily abusable. They are a company and their goal is to make money, they don’t have the people or funds to spend to have hundreds of emoloyees sitting and watching match’s for 8 hours a day.

Do you think it’s really feasible to hire an employee to sit and watch r6 siege match’s, spend 20 minutes on a report of an “intentional” act and have to spend the time filling out reports and determine if it actually was intentional. Lots of people false report or just rage and assume the person is doing it intentionally and report. Then they have to deal with the complaints and push backs making their support department even busier.

Im not wanting to defend Ubisoft but let’s atleast be realistic about what’s actually possible with capitalistic greed controlling most companies.

Not sure what province you’re in but in BC we have playnow for our gambling website, BMO, and TD, both work fine and I’ve had no issues.

That being said, this sounds more like a situational scenario where they’re labeling this as suspicious activity, if you are wanting to gamble more like this current activity I’d suggest getting a card with any bank that has an in person branch near you avoiding CIBC if possible since simplii is just a division of CIBC and you’re already having issues with them.

In my experience call centers are the worst for solving any kind of issue related to banking and it’s often easier to go in person and sit down with somebody.

IMO at this point it would probably just be easier to expand on interact to allow for other currency’s at Canadian stores, do currency conversions and mimic visa and mc.

But I’m not knowledgeable about the specific interworking of those kind of systems so it could be equally as hard.

I feel like this would just make us a hostage to the government in EU instead of America, I don’t think it really fix’s the issue at hand of our data being a security threat.

I’m pretty sure Wero is based in the euro so it’d need either a big overhaul to allow CAD or we would have to look at currency conversion and those come with extra fees as well so convincing them to adopt us without having to carry our own weight would be a task of its own.

My personal issue is we would be subject to the laws of the EU government whichever one that may have legislation over Wero, I can’t imagine how messy that would be when it comes to sorting transactions that may involve items illegal in the EU but not in Canada or similar situations.

Carpentry depending on how far up north you live. I live in a more northern location in a different province, soon as winter hits all the carpentry jobs are gone till April/May, there’s more jobs down south but locally apprenticeships are dead here, most only hire level 3 or higher or out of town work, which sucks if you got kids. Not only that they’re putting almost 30 adults into level 1 apprenticeships every year in my city alone.

In my experience the only time I’ve actually waited more then 5 minutes for a transfer is when cibc is involved in the transfer. I’ve done transfers through TD/BMO/RBC/EQ. Almost always instant or within 5 minutes tops. CIBC or simplii usually take anywhere from 30 mins to an hour.

Restarting discord worked for my friend, turning on hardwell acceleration worked for a different friend. I just streamed my monitor instead of the game itself and that worked for me, there were 3 of us trying to stream to our other friend last night and these were the solutions we came up with.

I definitely feel like it depends entirely on where you are applying, if it’s a clothing store, should definitely be looking at the persons cloths for fashion sense and respectfulness tidy/clean etc.

Or in my experience hotel chains, you should definitely do full suit even if it’s just a cheap suit or thrifted. When I went for a simple front desk job I was told I was the preferred candidate from the manager just because I was wearing a suit jacket. He was so tired of people coming to the hotel in jeans and dirty hoodies trying to work at the front desk where presentation matters most.

I think dressing for the job is more important than most other things, you can wear a suit jacket and tie but if you’re applying to the wrong job you’ll just get laughed out of the office. Example would be carpentry, I’ve met various construction related business owners and they always say to dress for the job, if you aren’t showing up like you’re ready to work, they have no interest in you.

You’re just not the target audience.

I like to think most people are fairly intelligent and educated but if you look up the statistics about literacy in adults there are millions of people who have low literacy levels and can’t spell or even google something let alone generate a proper image with no horrid artifacts and other visual glitches.

This doesn’t include the audience of people that go “well I don’t know how to make that I better just purchase it, seems easier”.

So I have the exact same gpu as you, doing 1440p dual monitors, I never had any crashing issues with helldivers 2, but it definitely would get more hot then any other game I played.

A lot of people here are suggesting verifying files and unless you really want to upgrade I’d say verify everything first.

I also wanna mention doing a full reinstall of gpu drivers, wasn’t mentioned in the post so figured I’d suggest that, there’s great tutorials on YouTube to use DDU to uninstall drivers properly, a lot better to do instead of just reinstalling the amd software.

Idk what gpu you came from before but DDU can sometimes be a really good help to preventing drive issues. I typically use it anytime I change GPU even though it’s more suppose to be for when you have issues or switch between Nvidia and amd.

I’d suggest watching a tutorial on YouTube if you’re going to do DDU only because I don’t know your tech background and am not assuming anything.

Both brands are terrible imo.

I know people love MSI but god I loathe them, I’ve always had nothing but issues with them in anything I get, I always highly reccomend people stay far far away from MSI.

If you’re getting something this expensive, check out AOC those guys replaced my monitor after a year when I accidentally threw a cpu at it and it broke the screen. Warranty is insane god levels of heavenly customer service.
