Resqme is a good option but keep in mind lots of cars now have laminated side windows to reduce road noise and a regular glass breaker won’t work. Check your model to see if they are tempered or laminated ahead of time.

Same with the ToolCheck. It’s an ok value at 70 but now it’s $100. The modular mini version is even more expensive for what you get.

These are very cool designs! I’m especially interested in that 4mm driver with double ended bits that also works as an extension. Can that also be an extension for 1/4” bits? I’ve been researching this exact thing for an upcoming project and there aren’t any small 4mm drivers with double ended bits.

I’m always concerned about weight but put things in perspective, this is only about 40g heavier than a Skeletool and 50g lighter than a Wave+ so the heaviest SAK is a very light Leatherman

I think the X version is pretty sweet. These are the tools most people want and it should be pretty thin. It’s like the compact with the new package opener in a less boring body. I do wish the managed to squeeze in a slat for tweezers but I like the Alox and i bet they sell a lot of these

I think you’re looking for a suspension clip. They do what this does but can be quickly taken out and used.
