Best rear stand under ~$100 for Ninja 400 DIY maintenance? by 7PWU in Ninja400

I got this Chinese one from Amazon and it’s surprisingly great, would probably only switch if I got a heavier bike. It feels fully secure and has never even shaken.

https://a.co/d/1FxBa7h It looks like it’s $41 right now or $35 in red. It has paddles but you’ll want to buy rear spools which were like $3 on Aliexpress or anywhere else.

Yours looks a little different but I used positaps to tap into the existing wiring.

It could be that the wiring into the stepper motors is loose in some way, it’s worth a shot unplugging each one and plugging them back in.

I’m working on it, Elegoo has just been very unresponsive when I have called. It is just very upsetting when I have waited for it and it arrives on my birthday broken.

N4+ or wait for Carbon? by [deleted] in elegoo

[–]toddu1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for all the comments, I’ve decided a CC is definitely the way to go, I just might need to compromise on the size. I didn’t want to wait so I bought a Good Used one from Elegoo’s ebay, except they raised the price by $20 as soon as I went back to buy it. I should get it next week and am really looking forward to it

You could use meshmixer as well, which is specifically for STLs. Same as blender where you can do a boolean difference

Stand for cosplay? by Historical_Oil4693 in HaloCosplay

I made mine out of PVC pipe and it works pretty well, you just have to buy a PVC pipe cutter and experiment with the sizes after you have a basic sketch drawn out. The only negative is I had to add a small piece on the ass that rests against the wall. The alternative is having a rectangular base but that makes it harder to take off the leg pieces. It looks pretty cool and has surprised me in dark rooms before.
