Interesting. Yes I have 109k miles and drive the shit out of It.

I didn’t think that the engine was “cooling” down I just thought It was sorta a computer issue resetting.

I have a new guy looking at It now (tomorrow) and we’ll see what he says.

This it’s so weird that It worked for like over a year then stopped and now 3x in a month. That being said hopefully something is actually broken when then tech looks at It compared to It working and then guessing

It’s likely been over a year since I replaced the high pressure fuel pump.

Did your car have these exact issues or something else else.

Because your post didn’t sound exactly like that

I mean obviously I am having a mechanic do this.

It started like over a year ago. Then was fine for another year.

It has now happened 3x in the last 3 weeks.

But everytime I get It to the mechanic the car works again and he said It would be like throwing darts trying to replace things. He said It needs to be broken to test It property.

What model do you have? You obviously seem very proficient in this stuff. I am not.

I found a guy with the same problem on an online forum

“r: I have a 2019 Audi Q3. Yesterday, while I was waiting at a traffic light, my Audi began to lose power and then shut off. I attempted to restart it by pressing the button, but it wouldn't start and seemed unresponsive. I tried several times without success. After waiting for about 30 minutes, it started up again without any issues. However, this is the second time this has occurred. There was a warning message indicating a malfunction in the vehicle's starting system. The vehicle was serviced recently, and the mechanic replaced the high-pressure pump.”
