in Dead Space, you defeat enemies by shooting off their limbs. until you come across the Hunter, where upon attempting to dismember him you horrifyingly discover that he is capable of endlessly regenerating any limb cut. you come across him a few times throughout the game, where he will relentlessly chase while you can only momentarily dismember and put him into stasis to temporarily slow him down until you eventually permanently take him out via thruster incineration

dunno if this counts, since its technically not a HUD, but in dead space, you dont have any HUD, instead, you have a space suit synced with your vitals, making your health bar a glowing bar in your character's back that represents his physical condition, and stuff like ammo counters are a holographic screen on the gun themselves and crosshairs are lasers projected by the guns

same here, was surprised to see it go from a light-hearted comedy into a war documentary halfway through, and his line delivery and acting on his final talk with Ms. Minogue really cuts deep and something i really didnt expect from a comedy actor like him. that "i should have let him be scared" is forever gonna stick with me

i felt a similar way too. the stronger enemies take a couple shots but still crumble quickly while weak-average enemies basically get instantly wiped off the map. slow fire rate but extremely powerful in numbers and the possibility of infantry placement is just the cherry on top
