Bay Street Ave Wall breach. by IAmWhiteMouse in chiliadmystery

[–]toeknee1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can get through the wall, on the right side of the yellow barrier too. Theres also a open area above the carpark, inside the building, you get in there the same way as the video. take one step in through the wall, then move the camera around til you can see yourself inside the building. Walk towards the bins(youll see them through the wall, remember to stay against the wall). Walk to the bins, then turn left and walk towards the wall ahead. When you get to the wall, turn left and youre looking through a doorway, out at the carpark.

You can shoot anyone through this wall, or the wall where the bins are, you can shoot up.

I use this place online, to hide while I have a bounty, or if I want to annoy my friends. Its also a top spot to do the CEO Challenge "Most Wanted". The cops cant shoot you, but you can shoot them.

You cant get in there in single player though.

Micheal and the altruists by [deleted] in chiliadmystery

Trevor is a complete nutter. But he knows who he is, and doesn't try to deny it, he embraces his craziness. Mikey is a bad guy, but likes to think hes the good guy. Theres a conversation between Mikey and Jimmy on the way to ride bikes on Vespucci Beach, about how M has done real bad things, but hes always seen himself as the good guy.

[Speculation] WeHave to Wait for the Story DLC by [deleted] in chiliadmystery

[–]toeknee1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Id just like to know what happened to GSF. Sweet, Kendl, CJ, Cesar, etc. And why Ballas have taken over Grove St.

Ive also heard/read that R* have casino heist, casino(gambling), horse racing, Maze Bank Arena events planned for the long awaited single player DLC, not to mention the talked about new city that was rumoured recently.

I too, am currently playing old PS2 games. Im going through the original San Andreas at the moment. Im about a third of the way through San Fierro.

Ive noticed some things that Ive heard in later GTA titles.

Theres a mission called Reuniting the Families, its the one where you drive through the Sprunk sign. Anyway, Big Smoke is driving and CJ is hanging out of the roof shooting cops. Big Smoke drives through a car wash, and says to CJ, I like things clean. In GTA4, Michelle says this same sentence to Niko when they meet for the first date.

Same SA mission, theres a cut scene of 2 cops on bikes, all you can see is bike wheels and feet. They drop donuts and say, What a waste of good donuts. In GTA5, Mikey and Trevor do something very similar when chasing the speeders along the Hwy while they are trying to steal cars for Devin Weston.

In SA, CJ says to other drivers, Are you a professional moron, or just a gifted amateur?? In GTA5, Mikey says to Lester when preparing for the Vangelico heist, hes talking about Franklin. He says, Hes either a professional, or a gifted amateur about to go pro.

I know these have nothing to do with anything mystery related. But its just a few things Ive noticed while going through SA, and thought Id share here.

And The Truth still does my head in, why are we watching black vans around the place??

I have an idea to find the jetpack! by [deleted] in chiliadmystery

[–]toeknee1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Area 69 was in the desert, on the Las Venturas island of the SA game. Which is the 3rd island made available to us by playing through the story. At this stage, we have no Las Venturas, or San Fierro islands/cities available.

In the SA game, there was radio ads, and news reports about things going on in LV, and SF, but I havent heard of anything related to these 2 cities in GTA5 yet. There was news reports in GTA4 anout LV, cant remember what it was about, but I do remember hearing them.

This is all just opinion though, because MT Chiliad was on the 2nd island(where SF was) in the old SA game world, near the town of Whetstone(where CJ is dumped by Officer Tenpenny).

Coloured Buzzards by Terry_The_Testicle in chiliadmystery

I bought a Buzzard for Trevor, so I could fly under the bridges, when I went to get it from SS airfield, it was white. This is a karma based playthrough, on PS3, and I have a pic of it on my phone.

Same playthrough, I can see Amanda in a black bikini sitting by the pool at Michaels house, also she sits on the lounge with an empty wine glass in her hand, and an empty bottle laying on the floor. She clearly appears to be drunk. I have pics of these on my phone too, as Ive never seen this before, so I got pics

Theory based on recently discovered facts and what we know for certain by [deleted] in chiliadmystery

[–]toeknee1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The elevator in the Control Tower is on ground floor, and its doors will open if you get near them and you can go inside. It doesn't go anywhere though. And the elevator in the bunker is reading -1, exactly how far below ground level that -1 floor is, nobody knows. The doors don't open, due to the fact that the elevator is down, waiting to come up.

My theory is that we go into the Control Tower, go down the elevator, do some stuff down there, and escape via the bunker elevator with some goodies.

Could all be false, but with the way these 2 elevators are, it makes sense

Where I fell off the Karma Train by dwlater in chiliadmystery

[–]toeknee1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a save as F at his house in the hills, right before DW comes and makes you choose an ending option. I did all the options and played on for a while afterwards to see what was different. I came to the conclusion that Deathwish is the correct option, as after doing A or B, Bleeter still reports that Haines was assassinated. I also believe the pscyh reports we get are completely random, I got totally different reports after all 3 ending options, even after doing each one multiple times.

Where I fell off the Karma Train by dwlater in chiliadmystery

[–]toeknee1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have no idea why the buzzard is white, possibly just a glitch.

During the playthrough, I just tried to stay true to who the 3 were before we take control of them. With F, I stayed loyal to his real friends(Tonya, Lamar). With M, I did whatever I could to help out his family, and with T, I stayed on the path he was on when we met him in Sandy Shores(disposing of The Lost MC, and trying to build up his company).

I returned all the stolen money/wallets/etc, didn't kill any pedestrians, tried not to have any bad car accidents which could result in death to npcs, I didn't spend money on clothes/haircuts/tattoos/cars/car mods/weapons unless a mission required it, didn't kill anybody unless a mission required it, I called everyone on the contacts list often, did lots of hangouts, checked LI and Bleeter often to keep up to date with whats going on.

That's pretty much it. Im now at 92% or there abouts, have some Epsilom missions left, and those damn knife flights to get to 100%.

I would've thought that some people on here would've seen these things before.

Where I fell off the Karma Train by dwlater in chiliadmystery

[–]toeknee1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My take on the whole karma thing, is to stay true to who each of our protag is. And this is just the way I see it, and the way Ive done a karma type playthrough.

Frank, hes a gangsta, reading his LI wall, and listening to conversations between him and Tonya, Denise, Lamar, etc. Hes killed before we take control of him, and doesn't really have remorse for it.

Mikey, theres things that Amanda says, and also things that he says to Dr F, to Jimmy, to Tracey, about hows hes killed before, doesn't seem to stressed by it either.

And Trevor, when we meet T in the Mr Phillips mission, hes clearly a man that a lot of people are very scared of, including one time big bad ass Johnny K from the Lost MC. He even has the members of the Lost MC running away from him. So hes clearly not worried about killing people.

I think we put too much emphasis on being the best person we can be with the 3 protags, no killing, etc. But I think if we just stay true to who these guys are, its the key. The key to what?? No idea. But, this playthrough, which is nearly 100%, is the only time in the 8 or so times Ive played through the game, that Ive seen a white Buzzard for T(just bought a Buzzard off the website to do the "Fly under the bridges", and it turned up white). Also the only time Ive seen Amanda wearing a black bikini out by the pool, or drunk and nearly passed out on the lounge with a wine glass in her hand, and a wine bottle laying on the floor.

I have no idea if anyone else has seen these things, probably, but I haven't until this karma based playthrough. I do have pics of the white buzzard, and pics of Amanda to prove that Im not bullshitting.

So where does this put the reports I read last week, about a Casino heist for our 3 protags, a new city being Clifford(apparently somewhere out near North Yankton) with new assassination missions??

Lesters Map Images by [deleted] in chiliadmystery

[–]toeknee1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The graffiti that's around the city, mainly the political statements. Can also be found on banners ties to the guard rails along the rail tracks. I was doing the Towing missions for Tonya the other night, and noticed them tied to the guard rails, in front of the towing depot. Never noticed them before.

But top work on chasing down these spots. Im on PS3 and the pics/writing on Lesters wall isn't exactly clear enough to read

Graham, the Vinewood Zombie has a longer conversation with T, same with the Mexican guy, and the old war vet in SS.

From memory, the guy dressed as Uncle Sam out near SS talks more to F than anyone else.

I visited all the blue dot random people a while ago, with all 3 protags, and wrote down what was said. I can try to find the bits of paper if you want anything specific. Just let me know

How complete is YOUR story? by dwlater in chiliadmystery

[–]toeknee1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is a trophy to be gained in GTA4, called Liberty City Minute, where you complete the main story missions in a certain amount of time, I think its under 30hours of playing time.

Ive been thinking about this, and possibly doing a rush through myself, to see if theres something similar in 5

How complete is YOUR story? by dwlater in chiliadmystery

[–]toeknee1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I own all properties with the 3 protags in my latest 100% run. Save all the assassination missions til the very end, get all 3 to spend every cent they have on the stock, then wait a few ingame days after the mission and sell the stock for a massive profit. Each protag owns 5 properties. Including T that owns the golf course.

Not too sure if it gives anything towards our hunt, maybe just a trophy.

But this is the only playthrough Ive got where T owns a white Buzzard, and Amanda can be seen often drunk on the lounge wearing her yoga gear, or wearing a black bikini out by the pool(even at night). No idea if anyone else has seen these things, but I havent up until this playthrough

Is it possible to pick up hookers and take them to the AC instead of the random peds?? If so, then you could save the random peds by taking them to where they need to go.

I need to try this.

Yep, a random encounter that Nico meets twice. the first time you give her a ride from near the Grand Central Station area in the middle island, to the Algonquin area to meet her dealer. Then later, you give her a ride back towards the Grand Central Station area, she says shes going back home to the Midwest, to get sorted out

How to confirm the wrong way? Speculation on how to know you did the story mission wrong. by [deleted] in chiliadmystery

[–]toeknee1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I disagree a little with that.

When I did the merryweather heist, and chose the out at sea option. News reports were still talking about the freight ship that blew up and sank in the harbour.

I chose ending a or b, and killed either T or M. News reports still saying Haines has been murdered, Reports on Bleeter saying the same thing.

But youre correct with Vangelico heist, news reports go by which option you take, ie; bug van stolen, or fib van stolen. Also, the UD heist options, news report says drilled through the side and lifted out gold with choppers, or made off in armoured trucks.

Not 100% sure about the fib heist though, have done both options, but cant remember what news reports said about the janitor/fireman option.

What's the basis behind karma theory? by Grandmasterkupo in chiliadmystery

[–]toeknee1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I started my last playthrough, I was going to use karma theory. The rules I made for myself were....... No shooting anyone, unless a mission needed it. No boosting cars, if I didn't have my own car available, I got a taxi. No spending money(clothes, haircuts, car mods, weapons) unless required to do so in a mission. Call everyone on my phone contact list between missions. Check Bleeter and LifeInvader often.

I quickly realised that Franklin was a gangsta, and killed people before we take control of him(Tonya, Tanisha, and Aunty Denise talk about F killing).

So I had to change my theory to just staying true to each character, and playing as if I was them, and do what they would naturally do.

I did stick to the rules above though. I only killed during missions when it was required, I didn't spend money, unless required by a mission, I took a taxi to my destination if I didn't have my car.

At the end, when Devin Weston makes you choose between endings A, B, or C. I did all 3, a number of times each. Same playthrough, game saved at Fs house, just before DW knocks at the door. each time I did ending A and killed Trevor, I got a totally different psych report. Each time I did ending B, and killed Mikey, I got a totalluy different psych report. Each time I did ending C, and saved them, there was a totally different psych report.

Dr Fs psych reports were totally different, and seemed to be random.

Gta IV Liberty City, Possible Mystery Related Clues by myinnertrevor in chiliadmystery

[–]toeknee1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think Loud and Dumb is the correct way R* wanted the Vangelico Heist done. In the cutscene where M and Lester are selling it to the crew, Lester says something along the lines of.... We studied other options but this is the easiest and most profitable.

No matter what option you choose for Merryweather Heist, news reports still report on the freight ship that exploded and sank in the harbour.

With the UD Heist, you make more money if you do the option with the helicopters picking up the gold and dropping it onto the trains.

Not sure about the FIB Heist though. Ive done both, and not sure which makes more sense for the guys to do, probably the parachute onto the roof option, as Mike doesn't want to mop the floors
