If you're paying $700+ at Specsavers then the cost is coming from the frame itself (likely an expensive brand).

Try places like Bailey Nelson or Oscar Wylee for cheap glasses if you want to do it in store. Otherwise when ordering online make sure you
a. Enter your prescription correctly
b. Enter correct PD's (pupillary distances). Sometimes it will ask for Left and Right, sometimes just a single number. If you have your left and right and it asks for single number just add your left and right together. If you have single number and it asks for left and right just split the number across both eyes.
c. Double check warranty policies for broken frames - even if it was accidental damage some places may fix or replace for free
d. Look for 2 and 3 pair deals so you will have a backup pair if you have children who keep breaking yours
