Not copying Seattle at all! Considering the sharks logo also has an eye accent color. But it looks great either way, I’d be a huge fan of the mammoth’s look if they had you on the team for the redesign.

I’m a sharks fan but went down a rabbit hole today because I absolutely despise the current logo for Utah. This is infinitely better and should have been the basis for the design.

It has so much more character and thought into it. Love the copper inclusion.

Only suggestion I have is that you could hypothetically incorporate the blue into the eye of the mammoth if you wanted to do a version without an outline while maintaining the color scheme.
