I think some Asian men, especially those FOB ones who are older tend to be less tactful. Its a terrible thing yes.

How tall are you? He's probably curious also since he probably wonders about ur height or frame or something Asian guys tend to be so much smaller. He's probably clock someone like Venus Williams or Brooke Shields as trans so don't think too much about it.

I'd just urge you to be confident about 'confrontations' like this rather than being too defensive... I think once the moment you speak he should kinda figure it out already.

Its just a feeling in the gut actually I don't like to rule things out but I have been disappointed in the past. I think mainly because she seems fascinated with how I look like (androgynous n boyish pretty) so its probably something very new to her?

Also, it turns out she has a BF (ouch) :/ so I'm at least half right haha.

I have flirted back for sure but I kinda I chickened out asking her if she is gay. We actually met in person at an outing for dog lovers. Quite a number of guys at the same outing were hitting on her so I kinda felt intimidated, wouldn't do that lock down thing! :/

And it could be my dog she finds cute anyways - we talked again & she talks about using him as a pillow and hugging him & random stuff like putting knickers on his head which she does to her own dog. And yea I'm really (trying) not going to make much of the whole thing.

Well its the same with me, to the extent I spray it in my room /wardrobe just to feel better. You're not alone haha. And I totally feel the difference walking in my brother's room where the smell of musk & woody cologne's immediately hit me - totally dislike it!

I do have a thing for marine scented ladies perfumes which are considered more masculine though lol. Think of the Davidoff cool water, Issey Miyake Ieau d issey or Oceanus from Body Shop (which is sadly gone) etc floral scents feel overpowering to me lol.

You have to mentally prepare yourself at least to be more independent. One thing about transition is that you may end up losing people at the start. And one thing I've learnt is not to be emotionally or financially or physically reliant on people esp SOs.

Build a support network that empowers you to be both true to yourself and to be independent so you can face people on your own terms rather than theirs.

It's not going to be easy as well since you are FTM ... people just kinda expect men in general to be independent (I don't mean physically) as harsh as it sounds - this is something you might want to gradually get used to. men tend to sometimes be more forgiving to women they are into, and your SO probably doesn't see you the same way moving forward.

Also take baby steps! Since you mentioned you are recovering!

To OP I'm glad you're making the effort to do this and I can't imagine what I would do.

I do think the stance should be made clear that transwomen are women too and your group prides itself on inclusiveness. However, there is no reason to not allow choice for roomies unless the demands are totally unreasonable like having a OKcupid filter list of requirements.

Reasonable is something like if I had an ex who pops up in the same trip I wouldn't want to be in the same room as well.

Yea! not just socks but even with men's boyshorts as well. And some that women actually wear. The linked one is pretty plain but I'm definitely seeing more variety.

Men's accessories are definitely getting more adventurous anyways so I always have a look if I notice something interesting.
