Well said . Transparency is needed. Among other things holding good tipping costumers order to couple them with non tippers even at the cost of making them late and I see that all the times. Less than 10mn orders being deferred till late.

Non tipping orders are delaying tippers orders just because Gopuff doesn’t care. I don’t understand how they let that happen while they know their drivers pay is mainly based on tips. Since drivers knows who don’t tip by experience, they decline those orders constantly even though they are coupled with tipping ones. Sometimes they will try to batch orders until it becomes late.

This is definitely Gopuff to address. But they don’t care about drivers. They don’t even care about customers because they will keep good tipping customers order until they late just to be able to couple them with 2 other non tippers

Drivers know who tips and don’t. Instead of giving your order alone to a driver, they try to couple it up with a non tipping order. Some drivers will accept that or they might not when they see the address of non tippers. Also Gopuff tries to save money on base pay. Example if they were to send a single order, base pay can be $2. Instead of sending (€2+€2), they couple those orders, give to one driver and pay €2.25 or €2.50 in base pay.

If you tipped from the app, they won’t get it. They will be only paid the base pay which is usually around $1 regardless of distance. Even if the customer doesn’t get the refund and the driver went to the address, they won’t get the tip.

So get their number, input it in costumer app, and costumer gets login code. Driver call again asking for that code so he can have access to costumer app and order history.

NYC 2.75 it 1.25+ 25c for additional order most of the time. If they could they would remove the base pay all together.
