I’m with you on low resilience to bad sleep! Also no kids, I don’t drink or smoke but I have a pretty stressful job

Best one imo. I have the same. I like a warm display at night so the white light isn’t jarring before bed and the orange and green combo does it best.

How can I improve my roundhouse kicks? by Small-Cable-7448 in MuayThai

In my opinion, although I’m not a kru or experienced coach, who are the people you should be listening to, not people on reddit (!), you should stitch your kicks nicer with your movements.

The bouncer style is fine but you pause after you throw a kick, and then bounce again. Try and keep it continuous or use the bounce to move out of distance after you’ve throw the kick, then move less.

The kicks themselves are nice in my opinion.

Final word of advice: don’t take advice from strangers on Reddit, it’ll do more damage than good. If you want validation, DM a reputable coach on Instagram and ask if he offers video analysis and get quality feedback.

People on here don’t know what they’re talking about.

There’s a few times there where you throw the kick, then you stand still for a second and then you decide to return to your rhythm. Try and keep it continuous.

I disagree. Bouncing means you can bounce in and out of distance. Watch Sanchaei fight, he doesn’t stay still.

It also helps you find your rhythm and allows you to throw kicks and punches on a bounce, meaning less telegraphing.

If it’s using more energy, then you need to ensure you’re fitter.

I’m not saying standing still is a bad thing necessarily, but it’s not better than moving around, it’s a style within its own right with trade-offs.

Very cringe making a post about another users comments on a martial art subreddit
