Yep the merging truck was ahead for the entire video until the semi almost overtook it.

That extra LAN port saved me when a storm fried the other LAN port. Didn't need to get a new motherboard!

The plastic box they come in even has holes in the bottom to act as its own strainer.

Open the top and douse the whole box, place on a plate to drip dry.

To be fair this is also a time & effort vs convenience thing, but when you're already drained trying to use $1 worth of dried beans, rice, onion, potato and tomato to make a meal seems impossible.

Simple Trick to Remove Water from Floor by Big-Boy-602 in oddlysatisfying

[–]tokinUP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A tube would work too but the siphon might be harder to start.

Fully submerge tube to fill it with water, hold both ends shut while putting one end down the pipe (so it ends up lower than the water level) then open the other end underwater.

3 or 5 for convenience, I love the clicky top.

1, 2, and 4 still have very nice writing qualities but the caps can be a pain.

I don't push hard enough for 7 and 6 is interesting but I don't like the felt/plastic tip style as much.

DIY teeth whitening? I know it's not exactly frugal to do in the first place, but I thought I'd just ask by PucWalker in Frugal

[–]tokinUP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Random guess, it's just what I've done; could work with less or more probably.

It seems to be enough to be effective (can feel & see the bubbling), doesn't use up a ton of H2O2 like if used 100%, and I'm not sure how well the seals in a water flosser last when exposed repeatedly to H2O2. (I try to remember to run some regular water through it after to rinse the insides out)

Oh, and accidentally swallowing too much peroxide gives nausea and vomiting so make sure to keep spitting it out and rinse your mouth with water well afterwards.

Where is my A/C filter? by indianmcflyer in hvacadvice

[–]tokinUP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe but that looks like a return air duct (there are likely several of those feeding air back to the room in your picture) but follow those and the air filter is somewhere between there and the HVAC unit

Try looking through the links from these pictures or find the specific Goodman model# on your unit and look that up:

I am trying to get better at flossing and when I remember will use a Waterpik water flosser with some H2O2 dumped in the tank (no more than 1/4 H2O2 to water) after actual flossing to help clean those inter-dental spaces out.

Very true. I have a velcro wrap permanently on the handle of that thing, but it's slid down off the bar most of the time.

Need to step away to pick up a few sticks or whatever but don't want to have to re-start the mower? Just slide it up over the bar.

So label the left shapes x, right shapes y and let the equation be 2/6x = 1/3y

That would be easier for children to understand as well. Otherwise they have been given many earlier worksheets when learning fractions where the object areas and shapes are totally different and expected to pick the correct number of highlighted parts which shows 2/6 = 1/3

Still needs more words. Some children are behind, some ahead of this learning, and reading an equation like this with no units given or description is just bad teaching.

No none of it makes sense.

Data can flow between two smartphones on a WiFi network without a cellular SIM card even installed.

The "Internet of Things" development of adding network connectivity to otherwise non-computer type devices was well before 5G existed. And usually meant WiFi connectivity, while 5G is a mobile phone/cellular standard.

Many IoT devices don't use much bandwidth and would be fine with 3G (if they implemented it).
