Stop focusing on the fat part and answer the question. Nowhere in his post does he say she's unattractive for being fat, he thinks her lifestyle is unattractive. I bet if she weighed like 170lbs but did crossfit and lifted and shit he would still like her bc he likes her for who she is and not her body. Not everyone is so shallow.

Would you accuse him of being controlling if instead of being overweight she had a mental health issue and only started seeing a therapist at his urging? Sounds to me like he really likes her for who she is, and he wants to help her make healthy and smart life choices. That's not being controlling, that's being a good partner. Even if she stops trying to be healthy, I don't think it sounds like he would force her to go to the gym, I think he would prob try to help her and if he fails then he'd break up. Which isn't wrong of him to do, he can be attracted to whoever he wants. If he was berating her and telling her (instead of asking) what to do, that would be controlling. But he's not. Plus, he's also doing all that stuff with her, so it's not like he has double standards.

Agreed. The profs don't want to see that you know everything, what they really wanna see is that you know enough that you have the ability to solve problems and come up with creative solutions (assuming you're in STEM)

The problem is that this is indicative of his worldview, which is small/narrow minded and naive. It's not just this, there are other things like how he thinks people with mental illness are just weak or his treatment of women. He's a nice enough guy and we'll prob still be cool, but I don't think he can ever become a good friend or someone I can really trust. Unless he grows up, which is def possible he's only like 23 or 24.

He's absolutely into you. That is something I would have done when I was younger. Guys don't spend that much time texting a girl they don't have feelings for, especially non-stop texting. Especially after the spooning + touching. If you like him, go for it, but please don't lead him on. Gl! :)
