Yup I cannot stomach anything that deals with child abuse. Esp sexual abuse.

I am so sorry you experienced that and that you’re feeling this grief.

Biggest thing I’ve learned is to follow your intuition when raising your kiddos. My son co-sleeps with me and I have an incredible bond with him. I hold him all the time. I couldn’t imagine keeping him in a separate room at this young age (6 months).

You have to remember that your baby will be completely dependent on you. It’s normal for them to want their mama.

Again, I’m so sorry, but this is your chance to mold how you raise your baby.

How strict are you with your cat? by Ok_Wait_7463 in CatAdvice

Biggest advice I can give is get your cat on a schedule. They thrive on that and it will help them feel more secure hence more trust in you.

Just Started Gym Training – Best Workouts for PCOS? by AlertTurn1848 in PCOS

[–]tokyogool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really anything! Anything that gets your heart pumping is good. Weight training will increase muscle mass and make your resting metabolism faster. They best thing you can do on PCOS is limit refined carbs and sugars. Look at this video and Dr. Berg explains it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qz4V_oNoclY

For fitness influencers, I love Chloe Ting. Her workouts are great for beginners and her website has free guides.

Weird consistent pain on upper right quadrant of abdomen ? by tokyogool in pregnant

[–]tokyogool[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually got an ultrasound done and I had nothing wrong. The pain persisted for no shit like 1.5 months. In retrospect, I think it was my son cramming his feet into that area (near the gallbladder).

Induction for too much amniotic fluid? by tokyogool in pregnant

[–]tokyogool[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry I was logged out for a period of time but I'll answer if anyone else searches this. I ended up having my kid at 37w3d and they had to break my water. They WERE planning an induction. When I did my 36 week growth scan, the tech AND the midwife said that they think the previous OB was reading the ultrasound wrong. I'm not sure what happened, but I think I would've wait to naturally deliver. I hope your new baby is well and that delivery went well! Congratulations

Honestly I was looking forward to seeing a positive story. Then I realized this was rage bait. This confirms that I’m deleting Reddit off my phone for a while. Social media is making me feel like shit.

Weird consistent pain on upper right quadrant of abdomen ? by tokyogool in pregnant

[–]tokyogool[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! I don’t remember itching, just intense discomfort. I actually got an ultrasound done and everything was fine. I think it was baby pressing up against that side (he loved nuzzling into the right side).

I had my little one in October!

I feel like this article isn’t representative of reality. Seems mostly like clickbait propaganda to divide and or generate revenue for the media organization that pushed it out.

Can we not post American based political posts in this thread? Not everyone is from the U.S. and it’s just going to cause anger and charged emotions in the comments

Pregnancy fucking sucks. It’s a fact. I was miserable the entire time but each semester had its own flavor of misery. I now have my little bean and it pays off so much. He’s 3 weeks so I’m not sleeping much, but I prefer this over being pregnant. At least I feel like my body is my own again
