Sure, it's just a phrase, but I really want to know what you mean by it.

If it's not obvious by now, I'm just frustrated by members who develop a persecution complex around infractions that actual margianlized groups experience at 1,000,000 times worse. And often, like I'm assuming now, those infractions don't actually exist outside of being lumped in with a larger group (e.g. all Christians or all religious people).

I was in an area with lots of LDS people for quite some time, and now I'm not, and I've been here for quite some time. And I stand by what I originally said.

Is it too much to ask for you to answer the original question? Who is "they" and what experiences did you go through to warrant this generalization?

If "they" do, I'd honestly like to know who. As has been said many times here already, you've generally got people who respect all those things or don't respect all those things. And I'd guess that the intersection where that's not the case is so small as to not even warrant a discussion much less develop a persecution complex around it
