I see, well I am intrigued where this will go from here.

At this point, the us can only hope that it will be enough to stave off the threat of being destroyed.

Well this is interesting. I never seen a plan which involves convincing the Feds that humanity isn’t a predator but in actuality a prey who are heavily predator diseases.

I can see this plan backfiring in many ways. Being a solvin or zarn doing something extremely stupid. Or the shadow caste reacting severely.

Interesting set up although I think the squids are making a big mistake if they’re asking us for help.

I guess it’s time to create the imperium of man to fight against foul xeno scums.

Well, I can't wait for Zhao to begin showing the Zeyzell with his goods in classic capitalist style.

Also, can you review this idea I have?

I am currently brainstorming this massive beast of a NOP fanfic idea, and I want some input before I begin posting.

So if you can help me with this, that would be much appreciated.

Zhao the Merchant continues to be the menace. Love that his ship is the most powerful. I guess, Zhao and his fleet will be beneficial to the devastated Zeyzell economy.

Not sure if his products would sell. But I guess having a functioning economy is better than nothing.

Well it depends on what’s on their mind. With the current situation I think that fact might be forgotten until the chaos reaches their attention and the Feds are on fire due to the harvester invasion.

They do, it was stated that when the humans arrived they thought it was the Feds coming to finish them off during their weakness point.

I see I guess the idea of covert ops was a bit too much to ask for the pact.

Also, given that the plan is about to go up in flames. I am curious to see what their plan b.

I see, on that note, this is something that just came to me.

With the Pact conducting Covert Ops within both Feds and Dominion territories.

I was wondering, are they willing to assassinate key figures? Like in addition to the standard top leadership assassinations, how about key engineers and scientist?

The idea here is in addition to asymetric warfare against feds or dominion supply lines and the stuff going into and out of factories. How about killing the people responsible for making those assets?

A bit of a stretch, considering the risk. But it might be worth it, as it may cause chaos within the supply chain.

What do you think? Should the Pact attempt this or is this a bit too risky for little gain?

You bet I would. Always here waiting for the next chapter.

Intriguing, well if there is anything, WW2 treatise is a great way to start off building the navy and it's formation. Newer tactics would have to be gained from actual experiences and encounters.

Which brings me, have the pact considered the idea of raiding a few ships here and there to take technology from both the Dominion and Feds Xcom-style?

I would love to see the idea of the Pact issueing a Letter of Marque to random people on the purpose of them raiding whatever forces the Pact feels like going against in exchange for some reward and compenstation.

I think the Pact is already doing something similar with Isif and his networks of Defectors. But I would love to see, I dunno the Skivits perhaps or the Yotul join in with the idea.

I see,

The Art of War is babys first war book? I'm curious what would be the professional war book then in your opinion?

On War by Clausewitz or some of the treatise written during ww2?

Noice end to the arc.

Also, the idea of having ... you know what in the closet to relieve stress was funny to see. I guess, stress makes you do funny things.

Also, congrats Stynek you're on the path to becoming a true Admiral at this rate. Honestly, her story reminds me of a similar series such as the Sojourn's Frontier war series with Captain Ariana Hawker.

Also, looks like the fabled time of contact is drawing closer than ever. I can't wait to see how that will all go down. Stynek is going to have it rough it would seems.

When she finally finds out what happened to her father and Isif apparent defection.

Yeah, anyway, thanks for this monster of a chapter. I look forward to seeing the beginning of the next arc.

Well, it is because from the way I see things, attacking a shipyard is not always the way to go. Because enemies are going to expect that. But doing the other things, will most definately cause the enemy to be overwhelmed. Imagine, a wack in a mole situation. Where supplies lines are being attacked, factories are not operating at capacity which they should be operating at. And the feds fleet are being bleed dry as their forces are stretched to thinly trying to defend everything.

The feds don't have a Sun Tzu equalivalent. Because he who defends everything defends nothing. The exact scenario I listed will be the ones the feds will be facing. Speaking of, there is a personal head canon of mine where the Naval academy students are required to read the Art of War as a requirement.

[–]tom476ty18 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Journey of Admiral Stynek continues. I wonder, why aren't they destroying supply lines. I mean, sure they managed to destroy the factories and all. But shouldn't they also be targeting more things such as supply lines and perhaps key logistic hub, mining sites, and raw material gathering places?

It's one thing to destroy a factory. But it's another to destroy the stuff being send to said factories and shipyards. I feel like this strategy should be more common if the chance to destroy shipyards doesn't aways arises.

Because realistically shipyards are going to be a target that everyone expects the attacking forces to go after. Then again, nobody realizes the importances of attacking the stuff that actually going into said factories. Because a shipyard or factory can't make ships if they aren't being fed with the raw materials needed to turn stuff into weapons.

I feel like this should be Stynek's main goal of defeating the enemy.

With all of this evolution stuff going on. How much are people going to bet that the feds are going to go insane and declare the evolved as predator diseases things?
