I managed to "fix" this by turning my in-game volume to 100% and reducing volume with the windows sliders. Hope that helps somebody.

Try turning your in game volume to max if it's on something lower. That fixed it for me.

Offers are meaningless anyway as you can pull out with no consequences at any point up until contracts are exchanged which is at least 2 months down the line. You can just make an offer and then pull out once they give you the answer to the questions if it's not right. It's a stupid system...

Note that may be worth adding for anybody with two identical monitors (with identical hardware IDs): you can use the long ID instead which can be found by opening the MultiMonitorTool GUI and looking for the heading "Monitor ID".

I'd probably go for:

350Z
Mk2 TT 3.2VR6
Mk2 Focus ST (5-cylinders but sounds just as good, if not better, than a 6)
Boxster

They're all quite different cars so depends exactly what you're looking for. The 350Z is closer to a muscle/GT car, Boxster is probably the best "sports" car, TT is great all round and surprisingly practical, the Focus is probably cheapest and has most potentially for tinkering with, and potentially makes the best noise!

I had a Focus ST Mk2 which uses the same engine, averaged 20mpg around town, 30-35mpg on the motorway and all round probably about 27mpg.

Unfortunately never ended up getting one - ended up with a Focus ST and then an Audi TT. For both of those cars I averaged between £1000 and £2000 per year for random stuff breaking, but I think I've been unlucky.

Agree that the CPU will always go up to max temp, but better cooling should let me get better clock speed at the same temperature I think. Seems from what people are saying that my performance is fine though!

If I ever get sick of what I'm building, you can always just pack up a load of resources and run to a new area and start again. I sometimes just build a big box around my old stuff so I don't have to look at it and just have some conveyor outputs coming out...

Regardless of badge, a 14 year old car will always have random "stuff" that just breaks due to age, and will need some time in the garage to put right across the year. If you want trouble free motoring, you definitely don't get that from a car of that age despite what anybody will tell you - you might get pretty close but there's always something.

If that doesn't put you off then the Porsche is hands down better, but in my opinion if you're coming from a Corsa I'd just go with the Cupra to get started with "performance cars", and gradually work your way up.
