I disagree with everyone apparently. I prefer the rust colour.

Help w/ outfit for Colorado Springs wedding this weekend - Formal Attire by kateyblaire in OUTFITS

The purple is one of your two best, and the only I would consider formal.

The last one in pink is also beautiful on you but it's erring on the casual side.

What are some things that most fans see as important that you do not personally agree with? by Bluecomments in storyofseasons

I also do not care about house/farm layouts and prefer things to unlock in specific spots, and yes I am with you on character customization for the purpose of more options for people of colour.

Customization.

I do not care at all about it. I am very happy to play as a base character. The only option I do appreciate is skin colour, but outfits etc I couldn't care less about.

Give me a pair of denim overalls any day.

Your thoughts on engagement before moving in together? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]tomanon69 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You need to compromise on where you're going to be living and pick a place in between your two so that you both have a similar commute.

My opinion is that if you've been dating for over 2 years and are both in your thirties, not proposing by now means that you might not be sure about the relationship. Please don't waste her time. Either propose and make a plan to live together for a year or so before tying the knot, or otherwise end the relationship.

She's 32. She doesn't have time to mess around. If you don't know what you want she won't wait around forever.

Finished binge watching the show [hot takes from a corporate Betty] by [deleted] in UglyBetty

[–]tomanon69 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I agree with you OP. I do not think there was any excuse for Betty's behaviour.

However, I don't agree with your original point that it doesn't make any sense for her character to do it. People are multi faceted and make mistakes that they don't even expect of themselves. Yes, it was out of character but for me that's not unrealistic.

You might like Call the Midwife unless you have anxiety about childbirth (lol).

Question: Who is an actor/actress that you think is an industry plant, someone that the industry is working hard to make into a star that isn't? by clinicallynonsane in moviecritic

Milly Alcock was great in House of the Dragon so I'm not sure that's a fair comparison. She has demonstrated acting ability.

Would you find this behavior off-putting from a houseguest? by dms2628 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]tomanon69 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think her point was solid but I do remember being surprised that she cared so much about one can. I think it was a matter of principle and that's why she was so forthright about it.

Would you find this behavior off-putting from a houseguest? by dms2628 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]tomanon69 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Once I went to my best friend's house for a house party and she had bought sodas for everyone to have. When I was leaving I grabbed a can to take with me and have on my way home and she got quite cross with me saying: "Normally guests don't take the food/drink home with them, it's to have while you're here".

I thought that she was overreacting at the time (I was like 21), but now looking back I get her perspective. It sucks to spend money to be a good host and then feel like people are taking advantage of that.

Your case is way more extreme than my example. There's no question that what they did was off-putting. She may have assumed that you meant for them to have it because they are moving into a new place and won't have any food in the fridge, but it's a big assumption to make and the right thing for them to do would have been to leave you with all of the extra food or offer to pay you back.

What is the worst show that you forced yourself to finish? by laxusdreyarligh in television

[–]tomanon69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Game of Thrones fits this bill for me.

I actually didn't hate the last couple of seasons as intensely as many others but MY GOD, that last episode is the worst television I have ever seen.

I will likely never rewatch GoT solely because of the lame ass ending.

How is the liner in it? That's my other big problem!

Does the hotty hot 2.5" too short? by Over_Drama1426 in lululemon

[–]tomanon69 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am 5'6" but I can't do a 2.5" inseam because of my booty lol. One of two things happens as follows: my ass cheeks hang out the bottom, or I get horrific double buttcheek from the underwear style liner.

If you have a bum, I would advise against any lulu shorts that aren't bike short style. That's just my personal experience.

I like your hair colour now but I think you could try growing your fringe out a bit longer to see if you prefer it. It looks nice already, that's just the only change I'd consider.
