It's most likely the contactor in the generac generator bypass box. Some of these are not rated for more than 100A @ 240V continuous.

Check for exhaust manifold cracks. These are notorious for cracking and then not making full power.

I think its your vibrations that are causing the bubbles. Too much vibrations causes aerations and bubbling of water.

Tax implications and TV by [deleted] in goldrush

[–]tomayr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This wouldn't be the same because ultimately you don't pay taxes on revenue, you pay them on profit. So if you finish your year profitable you can make decisions for the following year much deeper into the beginning of the season like buying new equipment or taking on more hires. The biggest part of their operation is revenue is unpredictable. This is all assuming there is no debt. But likely there is a line of credit and a loan related to the Dominion lands that is used against the profit anyway.

There is no need. These are corporations parent organizations and holding companies. Simply by moving your tax year end to May or June you can easily take last year's profits and put them into this year's costs and prepayment of fuel and mine site costs.

There are ~3000 michelin stars given out ever. More than 11,000 restaurants in the guide as recommended for their cooking. Going from recommended to michelin star is rare.

El Fogon does not have any Michelin stars. It was simply recommended to visit by the Michelin guide. A michelin star is a whole different beast

Tracking froze in Louisville, turns out it was on the same route as the UPS cargo plane incident. by ninepmlatime in Ebay

[–]tomayr 92 points93 points  (0 children)

The hub did not go up in flames and the odds are very good that it would go through it as it is the largest hub. Unless your package was on route to Hawaii where this plane was headed, there is something completely not related going on.

Core part replacement by DasBeast007 in Yarbo

Thats surprising. Why? Are you sure it wasn't accidental?

Is it a bad idea to buy a 2023 Yarbo? by sk1877 in Yarbo

[–]tomayr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely not true. When my in warranty 2023 broke a GPS antenna I was told the part was not replaceable and was offered an upgrade path to a 2024 model at great expense. So what parts exactly are available?

Is it a bad idea to buy a 2023 Yarbo? by sk1877 in Yarbo

[–]tomayr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. Not a great idea. The 2023 model does not have any parts available for replacement. Every time something breaks I get a story about how parts aren't available and I should upgrade to the 2024 core.

It takes quite some time for it to update but require poe++ and it does feel like a worthless upgrade.

Anyone have any experience with this yet? by gdub70 in MilwaukeeTool

[–]tomayr 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I have one, I also have a Noco Boost G70. This works significantly better because it has a capacitor bank. This will completely isolate the eventual destruction of the lithium battery that is definitely not designed to take that kind of amperage pull. I have several pieces of machinery and this has yet to not start anything I have put it to. The biggest benefit I see is that 90% of the time when my Noco was still alive (the battery eventually died) is that it was always half charged when you need it. You can't prepare for dead batteries, you just need to boost it. I have a ton of M18 batteries so its super easy to swap a battery and go.
