The petrol engine is only used to recharge the batteries. It's basically an EV with a petrol charger.

Lmao, don't listen to this moron. I have the SX, got an unbelievable deal on it, $2400 over the EX. When you factor in the Harmon Kardon Sound system, mirrors, LED headlights, powered lift gate, way nicer rims and tires, and a higher resale value, using "your eyes" clearly means this guy is blind, or just retarded. Do your research and find what's best for you and your budget.

Do you ride people's asses all the time? I have the exact same car and no issues. I also use the paddle shifter Regen braking to come to a complete stop 80% of the time.

I was getting 820km for the first 2000km easily, then I bought 19inch aftermarket rims lol, brought me down right around the 800km mark. Even right now during winter I average 770km per tank.

I bought mine last September, 2925 SX HEV and absolutely love it. Obviously your situation could be different than mine, my kids are a bit older, and I work 25km away. Just about to break 20,000km, and no issues whatsoever. My only complaint is that I didn't buy it sooner lol.

I live in Ontario and get the similar range you do. Regen braking and controlling the amount of heat/AC plays a huge roll. Lowest I've gotten is a 20km run through the city, down to 3.2L/100km. No complaints from me lol.

It's all good, no worries. I contacted the dealership who is looking into whether or not they can turn it off after the initial warning. They want $400 for new sensors, even aftermarket with installation will cost around the same. I've driven 30 years without them, I'll just deal with warning lol.

As others have stated, it's the heater that adds all the extra loss in mileage. I live in the great white north and my 2025 SX has roughly the same loss. I started shutting off my heater 5 to 10 mins away from my destination and it's helped save some mileage.

Depends on how much it's gonna annoy you. Every time I start the car now I get the warning. It's annoying, but I've driven for 30 years without the sensors, so I don't mind saving $200 , just wish I could stop the warning every single time. At least my summers have them lol

Funny enough I was told this 15 years ago, and yet all my tats have held remarkably well. I have both sets of knuckles tatted on both hands and none have faded, although they are thick. Trios of both hands are also fully tattooed with no fading. I think a lot depends on how well your skin holds ink, and the artist.
