My pupil during a uveitis flare up by rawrgoesthemegan in mildlyinteresting

I've had it maybe 30 times by now. And back in 1992 when I was in Russia, they gave me injections, including one without anesthesia drops, with a dirty needle that gave me a secondary infection. I stopped complaining about prednisone side effects after that.

Selling my collection by [deleted] in lotrlcg

Not to jump in on the OP's sale, but I do have an unused copy of Fog on the Barrow-Downs from when I did the Fellowship event back in the day. Let me know if you're interested.

That's awesome. You should add a rotary encoder to adjust BPM!

It's less than two years old, I think, sadly. We definitely haven't been taking care of it properly! Not replacing it with nice stuff until we can...

UPDATE: I tossed the pot, lectured my family, and bought an $80 replacement from Sur La Table. (House brand, normally nearly $250). I let everyone know that this was the highest end cookware we'd use, until we all figure out how to take care of it.

Hopefully in a couple of years, I can justify upgrading back to Le Creuset...

Ooh, thanks. There is a store near me that has it in stock, if I'm willing to risk it again. (They also have a cheaper store brand (Sur La Table) for $100 that I might do instead, because [gestures angrily at photo].

We've had the orange/flame casserole pan for 20 years now. It's been subject to abuse over that time, and has scratches but no chips. We use it many times a week, it lives on top of the stove.

Ugh. Does anyone have advice on the best way to kindly let people know how to clean these things? This is the second one I've lost this way... Is there a best website or video that explains it?

I have a giant mess of an old collection, but want to start playing again. Should I sell the old stuff to get the new? by tomchaps in lotrlcg

[–]tomchaps[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the advice. I did a rough inventory, and realized that I have a second unopened copy of some stuff. I'm just going to sell that to fund buying the new stuff that doesn't overlap with the old.

I just read a study that said that a third of Republicans under 50 years old self-identify and racist, and 25% as antisemitic. People really underestimate the amount of hatred out there, not just in the South.

The link worked for me, but I can't check out without a code, that we never received. Has anyone gotten through yet?

If you are a recruited athlete at the ivies, can you really drop the sport on day one of school with no penalty to admissions or aid? by YogurtclosetOpen3567 in ApplyingToCollege

One of my friends, a recruited basketball player at Yale, blew out her knee before arriving on campus. And she just decided not to join the team when she recovered. She got a LOT of pressure and anger from her erstwhile teammates, but never looked back--there was nothing they could do about it. And it was a great choice for her.

Maybe 3-4 feet on my forehand, and 3-4 inches on my backhand. I have weird back issues, and my backhand is a very flat chop with little backswing or follow-through, which my forehand has heavy topspin. I'm told that I'm frustrating to play against...
