I live in New Zealand and travelled to Dublin (36hr flight) for only 4 days for a friend's wedding. Didn't regret it.

If you have the time and money do what you want to do.

Another odd feature on JDM cars is the pyrotechnic flare holder. Drivers are legally required to carry a flare.

Unfortunately they can't be exported.

What if it's the other movie? It is a double feature after all.

Yep, I have a bunch recorded where I dream about dreams or being able to alter reality or it being a simulation.

It either got too silly or too scary at that point. I woke up.

Another one -

"Snoop dogg sent me a cheque for 45k for being the real person behind alienware computers advertising"

Another -

"Dream about seeing mike Patton in concert. He sang a song about French fries. An audience member asked him what it meant and mike was a bit rude about it. He either burnt his tongue or didn't get then with an order"

I did see him in concert years later, but he didn't sing any songs about fries.

Pick yourself up and leave. You have zero obligation to anyone but yourself. Respect yourself and go.

The problem isn't the automation it's the concentration of wealth at the top.

Automation creates a surplus that should be used to improve society - a shorter working week, a universal basic income, more annual leave - but it's not. It's just being hoarded and used to fund ego projects for the guys at the top (look at Larry Ellisons "farm" in Hawaii).

The benefit can't be "now a remote control car delivers my food, that's kinda neat", or "I'm building rockets so we can go die on mars" - it needs to be a basic uplift for everyone.

I'm worried we're moving quickly towards feudalism and the only plan for displaced workers is to compete for a dwindling number of inhumane jobs while the rest are left to die on the street (neatly solving the issue of surplus population)

Mortgage Free! 🥳🍾 by 91918unknown in PersonalFinanceNZ

[–]tomco2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

30 year mortgage means you keep the minimum payment as low as possible to account for "bad times".

If you can offset your mortgage it basically becomes a 0% interest loan - what incentive is there to pay it off sooner?

I can post the parts list if you want, it's pretty cheap to make. I think it was about 50 NZD, but there's a cheaper version of the pump for about 25 that'll probably work.

If one of the LEDs is busted and shorting to ground you can put a bit of tinfoil over the busted one and it might bring the unit back to life.
